Can survivors run out of cleansing fountains?

I just started plague and this thought kinda came to my mind since survivors have to go to a station to cleanse and once they do it becomes corrupted could they actually run out of them? Or does it eventually purify on its own?

  • If the survivors used up all fountains to cleanse, all get reseted.

If all fountains are red at the same time, they all return back to normal so you can cleanse again on them.

  • No, once all the fountains are used, they reset so survivors can cleanse again. When this happens, the game gives plague a free corrupt purge.

  • It's impossible to run out of fountains. Once the last fountain has been corrupted (by a survivor cleansing), all fountains on the map become pure again, and the Plague receives Corrupt Purge automatically.
