why is the plague's sickness considered trash when people rave on and on about shape's ewiii?
when they in theory do the same thing, cut down the chase time. with the added flavour of plague having the passive to deny stealth with some awareness tools, and shape having the extra lunge and the vault pasive. 🤔

denying stealth is useless in red ranks, people will literally run a perk that reveals their location so they can get chased, so the thicc lunge with fast vault speed is better
The extended lunge is far better. Not to mention a healthy survivor can't use dead hard. So the plague gets looped to oblivion... she is only good when she uses her best addons to see where you are when you throw up or in low ranks when they cleanse a lot.

Tier 3 provides both a longer lunge, and faster vaulting, which actively cuts down chases on top of the one shot.
Exposed skips over Dead Hard, broken leaves it available all the time.
Most players, especially high ranks, aren't hurt if the killer can find them so denying stealth is not a big deal.
Myers is never frustrated by having half his power denied from him. His power is always interactive through the whole match, and add ons assist him in getting to tier 3 faster, more often, and for longer.
Most of Plagues add ons rely on ever being allowed to get corrupt purge, which makes any builds around it incredibly risky as you may never see it once, or you only get to run one with an apple.
That said I love playing Plague, do it without add ons successfully in the red ranks, and have found the slow build promotes cleansing in most matches.
Myers tends to get overrated quite a bit, especially after Undetectable was added to his EW1, now Spine Chill and even OoO ( I know OoO doesn't show his aura in EW1, but OoO still lights up when you are looking into the direction of an undetectable killer, so you still know the general direction of that killer ) kinda ruins him. I think Plague is miles better than him, especially with the right snowball/stall build.
