  • As a lvl 19 killer, as long as I keep getting matched with SWFs that contain 1-10 survivors, I'll use noed. Call me noob, or whatever you want, but until MM gets fixed, I'll use what I can to be competitive.

  • It pisses me off when a survivor leaves you on a gen, then gets caught in a chase and leads the killer back to you in hopes that they chase you instead.

  • Hehe. I am Level 19 killer and I ran Doctor against 2 level 5s, 1 lvl 11 and 1 lvl 12 yesterday. I got 2 out of 4. It is frustrating but I am sure I am getting better faster because of it. My next map I ran hag against 2 lv 15s, a lvl 16 and a lvl 17. I dropped all four with 4 gens left, so all I can say is, matchmaking is broken but just enjoy those times when you dominate and learn from the times you are dominated.

  • I don't think there is a survivor character that I dislike, I'm just not happy with slinkers . Those whose backs are glued to the outside walls in a crouch as I hang.

For killers, it always seems like Wraith mains camp while invisible. I don't like campers and tunnelers.

For those not liking hag, I love playing hag. I'm not very good yet but she is more of a prevent defense killer instead of a chaser. I like the strategy!

At the moment, rank is only used for matchmaking purposes. There are no rewards for reaching a certain rank by the end of a month.

And it's not even used for that. The number of discussions regarding the broken matchmaking is testimony to that.

  • I don't have a character with DS, but I know it has a timer of 40/50/60 seconds which starts immediately after unhook. I'm fairly new to the game, yet I see people on the forum state they get hit with DS yet they are not tunneling. SO, how are you not tunneling if you get stunned by DS? Asking for a friend...

Is there a date to fix matchmaking? This is my 7th time as killer and 2nd time trying out this specific killer and this does not make it fun! Yes, I know it's a known issue, and I've bitched about it before, but when?!!!

Sounds eerily the same as my rant.

Not joking here, but go and do some Survivor Archives, grind up some easy BP and level up killers in the background if you have a decent Survivor build. It'll make it a bit easier to have Killer games, and get into the mind of a survivor.

That's exactly how I leveled a new killer to 15. I burned a sheetload of survivor BPs, daily rituals and tome BPs. This won't stop me from continuing with Killer but the Level 7 looper with a flashlight got really old really quickly. Thanks for the advice!

  • Better tactics work better than a playstyle. If survivors know that 1 is on the hook and 1 is down, then you should be flat out running to the 1 on the hook while the killer is busy. All too often, I see potatoes sneaking around from 40 meters away while I'm hooked and the killer is in a chase. Also, knowing killer perks and the pros/cons gives a tactical advantage. Timeouts, distance limitations, and counters to killer perks are online and easily available if you want to do the research. Of course, you could also play killer which, in my opinion, is the best teacher for both.

  • That carrot stiffie he has is a little disconcerting! 😜

  • "This is what happens when you give out participation trophies."

Hahaha, now all we need is a safe space on each map. sniff I need a time out sniff

  • Nope. Just another strategy.

  • From someone who just started playing a few months ago, I'd say quit worrying about points and pips, and even surviving. What I love most about this game, maddening as potato teammates and toxic killers can be, is to see how I have learned and progressed. I've become good at gens and learning to rush to a hooked survivor when a killer is busy with someone else. But the worst part for me was escaping a chase. As I've gotten slightly better at this, the greatest thrill for me was when killers give up and go to something else. It means I am making progress in my own abilities. I still die more often than not, but I don't get all bunched up about it anymore. I enjoy them game, just maybe not the post game human aspects. Don't give up!

  • Somebody has too much time? :-)

  • I played 6 maps last night. Four of them ended with moris, two of those after 1st hook. It was not fun and I don't know why a killer would want to play such a quick game. As it was, one of those matches was over in 3 1/2 minutes. Nobody pips, so what is the point?

  • I love this idea from one of the scariest movies ever made IMHO! You obviously thought this out. Regan spider walking would be the creepiest thing in the game to date.

  • I think a theme park would be a cool map with a horror house ride, a tilt-a-wheel ride, a rickety old roller coaster, a cotton candy building, etc. You get the idea. Clown would be right at home there assuming they can fix clown.

  • I agree with Granny. I play solely as lvl 10 solo survivor because the lvl 20 killer experience against toxic purple and SWFs on Twitch was not good. But the survivors in green/purple generally understand the basics of team play and it can be fun. Sure, you'll always have d-bags and outside wall creepers that don't add much to the whole, but I find there are great people on here. I've also appreciated purple and reds who give advice, whether through benevolence or frustration, in post chat.

  • Why? That is what would happen in real life. Is it just because you main as killer?

  • I hate indoor maps. I like to smell the fresh air and feel the breeze on my face while my head is getting bashed in. :-)

  • Don't shut down the thread by labeling it bait. This is what society use to call "Discussion". This dude countered what was offered as an explanation and I am interested in what others feel about the issue.

  • It has to be broken. I tried killer for the first time today. My rank 20 killer went against a level 3, level 6, level 12 and level 13. The level 3 baited me into looping while the other 3 ganged the gens. After dropping a few with hits, I found that the level 3 and 12 had flashlights and they proceeded to continue to blind me until the doors sprang. Needless to say, they all escaped. It was not a fun experience for someone trying out killer with 1 perk.
