As survivor I like Hawkins, and I enjoy using Pig on that map. But throwing hatchets as Huntress on that map pains me.
I like Midwich aesthetically, it’s amazing to explore especially as a Silent Hill fan. But as for playing on it, I don’t like it as much. I find myself getting lost easily trying to find gens as survivor. As killer, I’m always looking for the stairs...
Not sure on Lérys as survivor, but I do enjoy playing on that map as Pig or Spirit.
Don’t like The Game as survivor, but I’m indifferent towards it when it comes to killer.
So it depends on which role I’m in, and as killer it depends on who I’m using too.

The Pig 🐷
She is quite versatile imo, a good mix of stealth, aggression and control, based on how you want to play or if you want to play all three styles at once.
I like her teachable perks (Surveillance in particular), it’s not often that I like all of a killer’s personals.
What’s more, there’s a snoot to be booped 🐽

Ghostface has given me actual jumpscares before with him sneaking up in stealth, Hag traps can jumpscare me quite a bit...and Myers has freaked me out once before when I caught him slowly walking up right behind me getting a good stalk in. 😰
I don’t think I’m genuinely scared of any killer I face in a match, but I can get caught off-guard depending on how they play.

My favourite killer to play as is Pig, but for lore Nurse is my favourite killer 🥳

I think I missed a chance to boop a pig in a recent match, they were crouched behind a tree and I was crouched on the other side...hearing the heartbeat and waiting for it to go away so I could go over to the generator nearby...it was only when I turned my camera that I realised she was right there! We stared at each other for a few moments, she did a few roars and then promptly downed me...I did miss a good chance to boop the snoot indeed 🤣😔

@Rydog Thank you for your answer and the welcome! It’s interesting to see the perception of this from the killer’s side, I had been given the hatch before but never ‘challenged’ by the killer themselves in terms of getting it as the last survivor. It was a completely new experience for me, and I’m glad to see that it’s not unusual! As for that match you had as a Huntress, that must have been a marvellous sight to behold in endgame chat.. 🥳 😱
@Fibijean Thank you for your answer and explanation! I’ve heard of farming before but thought it was only something that happened during the match to all survivors (never knew it could happen to the last survivor standing). I’ve never had a killer farming within the match before, so I was even more surprised that they wanted me to farm as last survivor! Thank you for the reassurance in terms of whether I should be concerned or not, I wasn’t sure quite what this was, particularly definition wise, and was worried that I had involuntary teamed, glad to see that wasn’t the case.
As for the match you had against a Pig, I have had yet to have the snoot booped! Hopefully I’ll have that experience one day, I’m imaging it’s when the survivor points towards the snoot at close range? 😆😱

@Petraaahh Thank you for the advice and reassurance, I’ll definitely keep in mind all of what you said, especially about the decisive timing/reacting! As for crouch walking, I try to avoid that and go for just normal walk speed instead, only running when needs be. I crouch when I’m looking about the area to see if it’s safe, and then usually stand up to walking speed to go over. Also, thank you for the advice on taking hits/downs to get more of the team to safety! I had a match with a trapper quite recently and he was hooking us all in the basement, we were all trying to save each other, but kept stepping in his traps, eventually he successfully hooked us all...it was a quick match 🤦🏻♀️😂
@Mang_Anwar Thank you for the reassurance and advice! If I receive a message from someone from a DBD match its usually positive so far, I definitely didn’t see a teaming accusation incoming. Glad that most of my messages from other players are just “gg” and “thanks for the game.” But I know if I was playing on PC/anything with the endgame chat I’d most likely skip it without a seconds thought, for sure. I’ve heard a lot of negativity can pop up in the endgame chats, I think. 😣
@Raven014 Thank you for the reassurance and the advice! Luring the killer away with a repaired gen or some other distraction is something I try to do, in the first match I probably should have finished the gen instead of watching the killer shack waiting for the killer to leave...though I don’t think the gen I was on had even been started, and I thought my teammates would die before I finished it. Still, I’ll think more about whether the situation calls for a lure-away with a gen or an attempt to save/take a few hits for the unhooked survivor in the future. 👍
