Like really guys the amount of games I lost because someone was like "ew, I hate this killer and I don't wanna face against them so I gotta screw over the rest of my team by committing seppuku on hook to keep my honor!".

like really I know that a killer can be very annoying but screwing over the rest of your team is just an selfish act on your end.

It’s just too hard to play survivor solo anymore. Survivors don’t do their damn job and it makes it impossible to stay motivated to keep playing once you get caught. It snowballs too fast in killers favor. And it’s not hard to find somebody 😡 they need to make it easier to hide on some of these maps

  • its already too easy for killers. When there is a problem with them camping that is how you know it’s true. Don’t even have to try and they still get ez kills.

This is just factually not true at all.

I play strictly solo queue and we 3-4e at least 75% of the matches.

    Welp..... that’s a lie.

My guess is that you are low rank. And yes, there is camping in low ranks. My suggestion is to join a group you can SWF with and keep playing, so you can climb out of camping ranks. I very rare to see purple and red rank killers camp. As for tunneling... Happens in all ranks, so your best bet is to play with SWF who know how to unhook safely and coordinate hook states, as well as equip anitunnel perks.

I think you’re missing the point. Low ranks, high ranks it doesn’t matter. It’s still Generator Simulator. Survivors either stare at a generator or stare at a hook. Killers have the advantage almost every single game when you play survivor solo. It’s an absolutely atrocious experience. You wonder why there are high DC rates on survivor side is because there are glitches, camping and an extreme lack of fun no matter what you’re doing. Chases are heart pounding but it’s getting easier and easier for killers to down people. Gifted with anti loop abilities and more ways to down survivors faster. Then you get caught and might not even get to play again because once you come off the hook here comes a Mori or back on the hook. DS? Killers stunned long enough for you to take 5 steps and he slams you into the ground again. Pfff.

  • Killers got it way too easy

Unbreakable, DS, IW, BT, DH, OoO + flashlight + key

Dont you swf get bored of this build every single game? Legit the sweatiest build at least 15 games straight tonight. What is it with late night swfs?

I can count with my fingers the amount of time Ive ran noed or bring mori without a daily. FFs try something else!

It’s because all of the killers play the same way too. Duh! Those perks counter tunneling, camping pos killers 😂 this game isn’t fun for survivors they’ve been nerfed into the damn ground. Killers soak up ez downs every god damn game and the devs don’t give survivors any other way of defending themselves or allowing them to have some kind of survivability. Chases end way too fast imo. Those perks are almost literally the only way of delaying killers for any significant enough amount of time to let survivors do their damn objective. Survivors objectives can be delayed in so many different ways why shouldn’t there be plenty of ways to delay the killers? He already gets a damn shortcut with the Mori’s lol game breaking those things are. Keys ... hardly. But perks? Stoooooooppppp it

    Europe, CEST 15:09,

Every match, i'm playing either i'm playing as killer or as survivor, a survivor rage quits.

20% of the times when someone gets caught immediately rage quits, or 15% or less someone rage quits mid match or after the first hook.

I DARE saying that 1 match out of 2 a person quits. either the killer of a teammate.

Most time russians, that go clicky clicky as killer and when get caught immediately because their bulling fails rage quit, or as survivors where they go for flashlight saves don't do anything and just play toxic.

And this with cross-play DEACTIVATED, so I'm playing only pc right now.

I don't wanna imagine what would happen with it activated, seriously.

Devs you gotta do something, TONS OF PEOPLE ARE RAGE QUITTING ALWAYS

I believe the solution is to STOP MAKING SURVIVORS WEAKER. It’s way too easy for killers to take advantage of camping tunneling and Mori’s. All too often I’m seeing Chases end too quickly and just not enough ways to defend yourself. I understand in a game like this asymmetrical you’re not supposed to 1v1 the killer. But I think there are quite a few things that don’t let survivors really stand a chance once they get caught. Particularly when it comes to hit detection. Constantly killers are snagging undeserved hits through pallets and vault points. Some Killers have insane Mobility that don’t really give survivors a chance to get chased really. Gens don’t get done. It’s just boring and doesn’t feel worth trying to get 5 long noisy gens done. Every game you constantly feel pressure to be glued to the gens otherwise you won’t escape. The killer finds people way too easily to do ANYTHING else. So when somebody actually gets to do something heart pounding such as getting chased by the killer, you’re at too much of a disadvantage that it doesn’t feel fun for survivors. Plus a lot of them only get caught once and never get to play. As soon as they get off the hook, they go right back down because killers are just that fast to Be able to leave and come back to down you and then Mori you or throw you back on the hook. It’s frustrating. There needs to be better hit detection. There needs to be better survivability in a chase.

Let's start with the current gen times of the game since people throw around a lot of numbers that just aren't true...

    --------------------

Base Generator Speeds, Great Skill Checks give 1% progression (Nerfed from 2%) meaning a fraction of a second off per check.

Combine this with Prove Thyself that adds a stackable 15% Repair Speed buff for each nearby survivor to each survivor up to a max of 45% (This has been confirmed by devs to be to applied to the already reduced speed), this does not stack with other PT but should still be run on 2 people per team for max uptime)

80 seconds solo (69.56s with PT maybe during the time someone is just nearby doing a totem within 4m or self-caring).

47.06 Seconds with two (41s with PT)

38.10 Seconds with three (29.3s with PT)

36.36 Seconds with four (25.07s with PT)

    ---------------------

    The Extreme Gen Rush

The extreme case end of a gen rush is with 4 Brand New Parts (15%~25% of the generator depending on if both special skillchecks are hit), 4 Engineer's Toolboxes with Wire Spool addons (+12 charges added to the base 16) allowing a 15.8s generator meme at the start of a match. Outside of that joke, a competent team will run 2x Prove Thyself and will spread out, trying to pair up as two only when possible and using the items on the back half of each generator to prevent Pop goes the weasel or pressure from having any real effect as apparently intended by the devs (they encouraged that playstyle as more "strategic" with the toolbox patch)… the game becomes virtually unwinnable (3K+Hatch or 4K) for the killer regardless of whether he tries to Mori or not due to the existence of second chance perks like DS, BT, Dead Hard (Nothing against those perks as that’s for another thread but there just aren’t any number of seconds left against this to spare to deal with those perks even if not playing “scummy” by the survivor’s handbook).

This is even after nerfs to Gen Efficiency, Toolboxes, and Addons, basically where the whole "slug for 20s if you suspect Unbreakable, 30s if you don't" maneuver evolved from to create more pressure. Even roughly tracking that in your head can be wildly rewarding when it all comes together as you get better and better at the game (One of the reasons I think R1 Killer can be more entertaining while survivor is more relaxing for me even in R1 solo queue).

    ----

Now realistically I get to watch people in post game complaining about getting “gen rushed” while taking 90s+ chases. When there are 0 Prove Thyselves, Green or Purple Toolboxes (nor BNPs) and the killer has 0 slowdown like Pop Goes the Weasel, Corrupt Intervention or even Hex: Ruin. After playing and tracking over 100 Rank 1 Killer games since this Rift opened, I counted 3 times where I’ve truly been “powerless” and gen rushed to the point where I couldn’t even play the game by a SWF (One actually intending to power gens and nothing else). Reminder - losing a game by killing 0 to 2 survivors doesn’t always mean you were “gen rushed". record your games and watch your own replays then be objective with yourself.

It pisses me off people complaining about gen rush when survivors are definitely capable of dying just as fast. Chases end really quickly against experienced killers. Almost to the point it’s not really fun to even play survivor. People say oh you get so many chances. No... not really. 3 hooks aren’t always guaranteed and then you add camping and killer mobility with gen regression perks you will have games where you can’t get much done on the survivor side.
