  • Ah I see, I was trying to build a trap in the floor with holocubes and have guards walk over it to give that false sense of security.

Whatever the reason, time shouldn't count, or there should be a minimum number of visits.

    ^ This.

Time of day when an Outpost is activated can have a huge effect on the number of Raiders it gets. Activate the Outpost on the wrong day and it could really suffer. But the only way to Prestige an Outpost so it can stick around longer and get more Raiders requires Prestige points which are earned by getting Raiders.

The only motivation to raid Outposts if you're a builder is to earn Synthite. Raiding should do more to benefit your own Outposts; the more you raid (actual raids, like dying at least five times or escaping with the GenMat and leaving at least one Accolade), the higher the minimum number of Raiders your Outpost should be guaranteed to get (again, real Raiders, we don't want players trying to cheat the system by starting and leaving).

It sucks that my friend built a really cool Outpost for me; I think it's fun without being brutal (even though it's rated Brutal) with attention paid to all three of the Forsaken Tombs, but it's getting no Raiders. I've been raiding a lot of Outposts, but it's doesn't do anything to help our Outposts. Three activated Outposts, each a different difficulty level, and two are doing terrible and one's doing okay at best.

I'm glad I got this game on PlayStation Plus because I don't think a system like this has longevity: it's extremely discouraging to put effort into Outposts and get nothing for it. The excitement's gone and now I'm just feeling disappointed.

This! This is the main issue I've found with this game, what's the point if everything you spend hours to build is useless in just a few days?! You can prestige 10 times then goodbye hard work. This game needs a major overhaul in the prestige department, otherwise the only maps we'll see will be exactly the same kill room which is already happening.

  • From what I can tell the prestige system is currently the worst part of MYM altogether, you can only prestige 10 times then that map is pretty much dead, so creativity doesn't matter at the moment, in fact kill rooms on small maps are actively encouraged because they are quick and easy to make and get raided more often due to somehow usually falling in the normal or dangerous categories. I really hope they remove the whole system altogether at some point, you shouldn't be punished for spending a lot of time making a creative and fun map that can only be played a set number of times just for it to be ignored those 10 times because it's "too intimidating" I get they need a large amount of maps but that surely would come naturally over time.

Simply put make boring kill rooms till they realise that actually encouraging creativity is healthy for the game and encouraging making a map an hour isn't.

  • Maybe have it so the player needs to beat their own level for it to go live. They did this with Hitman's contract system to prevent exactly this.

  • Personally, adepting killer is the worst part of DBD, nothing but sheer pain and frustration for something you can get as survivor without trying.

  • Welp, playing killer will result in players being banned under a system like they described.

  • I'll be honest, Trickster AKA: The Joke, is as fun as sawing off your own fingers. In fact that would probably bring me more joy. He needs major buffs or to be reworked like the maps.

  • What's this trickster everyone is going on about? I only know of the joke. (Seriously though, he's literally no threat without top add ons.)

  • I'm currently in a lobby as killer, have been for the past 30 minutes or so with survivors constantly leaving and joining, it took around 10 minutes to find this lobby in the first place. Something really feels off with the queue times today.

  • Here's a video of me getting stuck in the same situation, hopefully it should help fix this issue.

  • I let a survivor go earlier since I brought in a green mori which caused one survivor to DC almost instantly once the match started, The remaining survivors weren't toxic and decent at chases but I decided to use my mori as to not make it go to waste. One of the two remaining survivors refused to struggle and killed themselves on the hook which made me feel bad for the last survivor. I rarely let anyone go but after these events and the fact when I caught them they had almost got the door open I decided to let the last struggle free and escape.

  • Anyone else struggling to actually play? I have a type 2 NAT and have been getting the CE-34878-0 or endless loading screen every time I try playing killer, which I've only received since this update.
