No, sadly there isn't anything like that.

In-game prompt button changes and other such things that associate with in-game actions cannot be changed for a LIVE match, as even the perk skin changes don't go with you in a LIVE match, since they can't.

The only thing that players are able to do is change things like portraits or perks that're associated with the lobbies, not in-game. There doesn't seem to be an option that supports PlayStation Controllers, it just associates it as an Xbox controller and treats it as such.

You'll either have to get an Xbox controller or just get used to the button mapping i'm afraid, sorry.

Thank you for answering! I didn't think there was an option but figured it was worth asking. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

  • I am a survivor main who mostly plays killer to knock off dailies/get rift challenges, and I have found most people to be rather kind? This could be because I'm relatively new to the game and lower-ranked, I am a rank 16 survivor and rank 19 killer.

I actually sometimes get survivors going "wow were you even playing" when I am killer, and then upon seeing my rank apologise and offer tips and suggestions. I actually find this really wholesome and am grateful for the rank 9 survivors I accidentally get matched up against who offer me condolences over the matching, say that the matchmaking wasn't fair to me, and offer suggestions.

I actually find I get more toxic killers, who will camp and/or tunnel, (I had one Huntress who was going for the "Kill the Obsession 4 times by any means" rift challenge, tunnelled me instantly as I was the obsession, and then kept picking up everyone else hoping they had decisive and would become the obsession :/) but usually I just leave the chat and don't say anything.

If a killer plays well and I had fun regardless of whether I lived or not I will "gg" or "gg wp" or even give specific compliments and a lot seem really surprised, which makes me kind of sad. I was in a three man SWF team once and a huntess was sniping all of us from across the map. Within maybe 5 minutes she had slugged all of us and then hooked us. In the chat all of us were complimenting her aim and saying how evne though we lost, she deserved the win and it was incredible to watch her make those shots. The Huntress was really surprised but very grateful for our attitude.

  • I am a survivor main who also plays killer (mostly for dailies/rift challenges) and I prefer playing a game where everyone is trying seriously, but I don't mind farming at all, especially when I am trying to get difficult rift challenges that are basically impossible to do without farming.

Farming can be fun but I am far more open to it with the current Rift Tomes.

I mean like I said it can be a crappy build if the basement is in a bad place. But usually I'd run it on like Ghostface for example. They don't know I'm around, I get to basically stalk as they go in, ignore Borrowed Time as I approach. It's pretty dirty stuff. I know Trapper's Basement is strong as well.

I tried it a few times after watching Monto's Basement videos. I haven't done the kill 4 survivors in the basement in a single game yet. I've done hook 5 survivors in the basement challenge, did that in a single game...I did happen to kill all 4 in the basement...shame I can't do two archive challenges at once lol

Same thing happened to me! Got the 5 basement hooks in one round but cannot get the 4 basement hooks in one round.

Uhhh, I kind of feel bad if I have Iridescent Head Hatchets with Huntress.

As for perks I guess I kind of don't like running the basement build very much. aka Agitation, Iron Grasp, Mad Grit, usually with something like ruin. Unless the basement is just in a crappy spot, I'll almost always get someone in the basement, and either they kill themselves early, or I get more victims for the basement when they try to save them while I do my soft patrols.

I usually give them enough wiggle room to go for saves. But I just feel scummy and I don't know why. Feels like an unjustified win, because the survivors are just wanting to save their friend. And most of the time there are 3 gens I can guard while also being semi-close to the basement to head back to them in the process.

Oh that's a good one I didn't think of, something like Agitation, Iron Grasp, Monstrous Shrine and maybe Territorial Imperative or Mad Grit. That could get really brutal really fast. (A good build for the basement hook rift challenges sadly but it makes you feel kind of scummy.)

Lmao unfair, with god loops, god pallets, and perks that allow for multiple mistakes to be made, and insanely fast and easy gen repairs, no I don't find any build for killers to be cheap because even the POTENTIALLY strongest builds are easily negated because they involve totems which have trash spawn locations to begin with

As a survivor though I do feel bad if I run DS exhaustion perk, adrenaline and self care of fixated/urban

I don't agree, but I understand why you feel that way. I am a survivor main so I may be biased. I find some killers to be less/more balanced than others, so running something on Legion versus on Meyers could be very different builds.

I generally don't find anything wrong with SC and Urban against killers, but I get the rest.

They added rift cosmetics into the store already?

I saw some that said "available in ___ outfit" so I just assumed, but possibly not, I haven't actually checked tbh.

Infinite tier 3 Myers (unless paired with tombstone), rusty shackle hag, and black incense Plague. Everything else is fair game. Very few add-on or perk combos feel unfair to me. Slugging builds can be annoying but I don't blame the killer for doing it, I blame the devs for forcing them to do it just to win.

I don't bring a mori unless I see a key or a bunch of toolboxes. There's nothing wrong with bringing a key or a mori but they're both boring af. I also don't like how you're guaranteed to lose points for bringing a mori, while using a key gives you more. Just my 2 cents :P

No I understand. I don't think the emblem system is very effective but I understand originally it was a BP rank up system and people abused it by farming, so I understand why they changed it. I just don't agree with balancing for a 2K and 2 escape and then killers de-ranking for getting that. They should stay where the are and pip if they do better, imo.

DS and Borrowed Time (With SWF) when the exit gates are open. I basically stole an entire kill from the killer by applying BT and giving em hope just to slap em with DS.

That's just mean but its in the game... "Shrugs"

    lolololol

One of my friends I SWF with has what she calls her "b*tch build". I believe it is Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Unbreakable and either Deliverance or Head On, I don't quite remember, but I could ask her. Usually it isn't needed but when she gets to use all parts of it... I do feel bad for the killer.

  • A lot of the outfits can be bought separately outside of the rift. If you've already purchased an item do you get nothing? Because in that case it may not be worth it, otherwise I think it's a pretty good deal.

  • Survivors are welcome to contribute of course, this question is just more applicable to killers I believe.
