  • I'm sending another image, showing the moment the camera moves away from my character.

They could have added the old effect to the new but, its really not a bad perk as it is now. I love it with my treasure chest build. 80% more charges on my toolbox is so nice

Honestly, I didn't like it. There aren't many chests available on the map, and most of the time they've already been opened by other players. And the items aren't that great either. I prefer to stick with Build To Last; it's a more guaranteed option for more item loads. They literally made this perk situational and not guaranteed.

  • The rework of this perk was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT for me. It became another one of those useless, extremely situational chest perks. I always used it in genrush builds, and now I have to find another alternative. If this perk wasn't used much before, it won't be used by players at all now.

    Ever tried it with Hyperfocus?

The combo can be pretty nasty.

The only decent synergy that Stake Out has with another perk is precisely Hyperfocus, other combinations are nothing more than memes that do little to benefit the survivor, so much so that few people comment on them, and generally only mention hyperfocus.

Precisely because it is a perk so conditioned to others, and that do not do much relevant, I decided to create this topic proposing a 5 second reduction in the cooldown.

  • I played with Boil Over today, and all the killers walked perfectly in a straight line and I got hooked on every occasion.

  • Is this serious? The perk is already bad as it is. Do you want to make it unusable for good? This can only be a joke.

Boil Over is a terrible perk, down to its very premise. It's either worthless or it's more effective than DS at preventing the killer from getting a hook without a cool down or conditions or any stupid tiny skill check. It was definitely a bad thing when it was too strong. Nothing like watching a survivor get off a killer's shoulder multiple times, so the killer gives up on them and tunnels you out because you didn't run the annoying perk. I despised teammates who ran Boil Over and if I could've known beforehand and dodged their lobbies I would have.

The 100% effect was too strong on some maps, especially against console killers. I wasn't messing around with that, if I got stuck on the environment even once because of Boil Over then the survivor got to stay on the ground and bleed out.

I still see Boil Over a lot these days. Apparently there continues to be a large number of survivors who find it useful. On a map with a lot of line-of-sight blockers Boil Over can be very costly for the killer.

So would it be a case of changing the intensity depending on the platform you play on? Nor can we forget that most maps are open?

Would make her literally awful. Is literally counterintuitive to her design. The entire point is she bypasses barriers. Also what the hell would she do on indoor maps then? Or literally near any indoor/complex structure whatsoever that she can't navigate otherwise fast enough for an actual chase?

She does not need a nerf or rework to her basekit.

Sorry, Nurse literally needs a nerf. She is by far the strongest killer in the game, and in the hands of someone who knows, at least, to play with her, have high destructive power.

Whenever I play with my friends and it's a match against Nurse, the first thing everyone does is complain, because we know that the chances of losing are very high.

And unfortunately, the current perks, especially after the rework, don't do much to counter her.

  • This perk should at the very least gain more power, at least in the endgame. It's fair.

  • They need to resolve the issue of this perk. It's frustrating that it's such a meme. It's almost useless in the normal game.

Minimally experienced killers can handle it without major problems.

Not really a counter, rather a solution, which these dimwits should have thought about and done in the first place after the PTB feedback is to make Boil Over in this current state an exhaustion perk with a cooldown of like 100-120 seconds.

100-120 second cooldown? You have got to be kidding. Basically it's trying to make this perk useless again, just like it was before. if I'm going to have a 100/120 second cooldown on a perk like Boil Over, then I definitely find it more viable to use other exhaust perks that will give me more secure benefits.

The ideal solution would be to reduce the wiggle advance, perhaps from 25% to 15% or 10%.

The 100% impact on strength is more than fair.

I'm sure RDP will get a hook in the library. I think that's the only place it's abusable. Everything else is skill based at that point. Not sure why they didn't already put a hook in RDP's library to be honest.

There is a hook spawn area in the library at the bottom, but the chances of the hook spawning inside are very slim. Most of the time, there will be no hook inside.

What they can do is make the hook appear always, in every match. That might already help.

  • Yes. The grass in my game is awful. They need to fix this.
