  • Ok. A new bug happened. Now my game frozen entirely and I needed to abort the game on the task manager.

I have something the same too, this might be related to that as well

Wow! Your post is way more detailed than mine, and the fact that it can't be upvoted is problemeatic, since this is a game breaking bug.

I've tried to search for "stuck on pallet" bugs and didn't found anything, so I've created this post, but yours is way better.

We're now on 5.7.2, and this bug wasn't even addressed.

  • About the killer, I've really liked his power. It gave me so much Deathgarden vibes. I've realy loved to play that game, and it looks like I'm gonna enjoy playing with The Trickster.

About his appearance, I've felt it weird at first, but I guess it's a matter of time for me to familiarize with him.

There is just one thing that dissapoints me: his weapon, the daggers, the power, the moves, the mori, everything would fit as a glove... if the killer were The Joker (but I guess this realm has no place for two clowns).

  • Same here on PC. It happened to me, playing as a killer, and also with a random player I witnessed, playing as a survivor.

The only way I could escape (I was playing Demogorgon) was creating a portal and traveling.

  • I know this change is hard, but remember that stabbed running people can't stop to do other things, like fixing generators, for example.

  • I don't think so.

In the end of the second season, all of the Stage 5 Demogorgons (aka Demodogs) are skin colored. All but Dart, who always was dark green with an yellow pattern in his back.

And besides, a large quantity of Demogorgons died there. Why would the Entity bring the only one that hesitated to kill?

P.S.: When the Stranger Things chapter was in the PTB, I've suggested the release of a Dart colored skin for Demogorgon. I still insist on the idea.

  • I actually thought Hopper and Joyce as well.

But as an third option, I actually would like Bob.

I like Steve, is one of the best characters in the series. But personally, I dislike Nancy. She's too reckless.

But anyway, they're a good addition to the game, and in the Entity's Realm, maybe it's good to be reckless.

  • I'm sorry, but for now, I don't have a solution for this matter.

Maybe "Borrowed Time" could be used as an provisional solution, but woudn't help you. Only the unhooked survivor.

  • First, as @Kumakx said, he will only get one or two kills per game.

Second, for every 10 seconds he stays camping a survivor, he loses points in the hunting category.

    My prediction?

    • No generator will remain unfinished. 0 points on deviousness.
    • One or two sacrifices. 2 to 4 points on sacrifice. Bronze to 2, silver to 4.
    • One or two survivors being downed with one hit. 1 hit with 3 hook states = 7 points. 7 to 14 points on brutality. No emblem with 7, bronze with 14.
    • No need to calculate hunting. Every point he wins with chases, he loses with camping. 0 points.
    • 1 bronze = 1 point. 1 silver and 1 bronze = 3 points. 5 points is the minimum to not lose pips.

Ahn... he is actually losing pips with this strategy.

As I say for every main killer I know, camping is possible, but not recommended... at all.

  • I always thought they wake up in the trial when they sleep.

  • One that I really thought cool, but it would be hard to put in the game: Xenomorph, from Alien.

  • Man, relax. This is a horror game. When nervous, a lot of mistakes can be made. There are some things in this game that can be much scarier than this.

P.S.: Better mistake a survivor for killer than a killer for survivor.

  • I guess some people think of some perks individually. Me, well...

Babysitter + Mettle of man + We're gonna live forever.

Inner strength + Small game + Head On.

Surge + Pop goes the weasel + Overcharge + Surveillance.

  • First, sorry for the big text.

I aways hate this idea of "correct way to play". The correct way is your way. If there's something wrong, adjust it, evolve it, and make your strategy the best for yourself.

Of course they'll rage at you. They've lost. They will complain and tell you are doing wrong, because in their minds, you shoud've let them win.

But if you indeed want to become better, understand your killers and your perks.

    Here are some general tips:

Don't respect obstacles: the survivors will try to throw the pallet at the right moment. Make it sooner.

Set your perks with an strategy in mind: want to stall generators? want to be unstoppable? want to see everything? Try to combo your perks with your strategy to best effect. If you pick a piece of everything, you'll get a whole nothing.

Tunneling is valid, such as Gen Rushing: survivors will do everything they can to win. So do you. If they can't hide well, they will be found. It's harsh, but they will learn and get better.

Camping is possible, BUT NOT RECOMMENDED: you lose bloodpoints every second you camp a hooked killer. Also, you give the others more repair time. The risk doesn't worth it.

    Ending with some personal tips:

Victory requires effort: Train, dedicate and learn. No one borns a pro.

If you're facing an lose streak, make a pause and grab a food: it works. Trust me.

Respect the other side: I've made real friends with this one. Your opponent is not your enemy. When the match is over, if they deserve, compliment them. You will be surprised of how many will answer positively.

  • From PTB to live he was actualy buffed. Jump Rope (decrease action speed of survivors at the dream world) has been raised from 8% to 9%.

  • Honestly, I think the killer is good enough. (But I believe some people will disagree.)

His stealth power has been substantialy nerfed to compensate his new territorial powers, a survivor doesn't need to wake up to progress normaly (since the 50% progression penalty has been removed) and can play the whole game sleeping (not recommended, but not impossible either), and now the survivor can wake up with a new and more consitent way.

Personaly I think they've had much care with this rework. The killer isn't stronger or weaker or harder. It's simply funnier.

I understand that i never take this game very seriously i play for fun but as a survivor and killer in equal amounts i even dislike the toxic members of my own team as survivor sometimes. But as a killer the hate mail i get even on the PS4 is crazy:).

Although the other day i played one game where every surv DC`d as i downed them, One poor guy left on his own so i chased him for a bit before he realised i was leading him to the hatch to escape sfter his team abandoned him lol. Now got another friend to play with .

When the dedicated servers go live, the players (both killer and surivivors) who stayed after a DC will be rewarded for staying in the match (aside from penalties to the player who DC).

  • Personally, I dislike camping, since for me it prejudices more than helps (gen rushing), but when I see that a survivor unhooked, the first thing I do is go to the hook and follow the scratches. If he doesn't hide well, I will find and hook him.

I was reported once for "cheating" when I was just following blood splats right into lockers. :)

If you still think tunneling is absolutely toxic and shoudn't be done by killers, let me show you a Plague add-on:

Black Incense: Survivors' Auras are revealed to you for 5 seconds when they vomit.

Since a survivor vomits right after being unhooked and vomit periodically if infected, it works like a Bitter Murmur for unhooking and makes tunneling almost ridiculously easy.

Remember something: Survivors will do everything they can to stay away and win the match, and you, as killer, should do the same.
