  • I assume this is either bad bait or a list based on how fun he thinks each killer is

  • Yep, they're pretty horrible. I got Adept Plague a fewdays ago and it was a chore to say the least. It's taken me tons of attempts cause I was frequently denied it by Keys, disconnects, suicides on hook or simply a shortage on Chaser emblem points, solely cause of how her power functions.

In the end, to get it, I had to extend the game to point of absurdity while also praying none of them gave up, constantly running around chain slugging them and then standing around in a corner letting them pick eachother back up.

Fact is I could've ended that game in 3 minutes flat but that wouldn't have been good enough, instead I was forced to turn it into a 10 minute slogfest.

Luckily I only have Adept Ghostface left but I imagine he won't be an easy one either as he suffers a similar problem with his Chaser emblem

  • I believe the devs stated they won't make a disguise killer, and frankly I think its a bad idea, too easy to play around, too easily dismantled by SWFs.

  • Honestly, I get where you're coming from, but I like it as is to be honest, the low intensity music allows me to better focus and pick up on sounds around me while in a chase, lol.

Blindness should stop both aura reading AND notification bubbles.

It should, but even if it did, it'd still be an overall weak status, especially on something like Demo portals where the Killer player isn't really the one applying it to you.

  • Agreed, typically most Killers, especially the recent ones, only get a handful of truely good addons anyway, so why not get creative and do something fun and gimmicky, or something that changes how you'd approach using a power, instead of reaching for the bottom of the barrel and stuffing in some random status effect or "more frequent skillchecks on Pig boxes" (like really?) for example.

  • Agitation for sure, having that extra speed just feels so nice, and it often catches survivors off guard, letting me get cheeky hits in, best feeling.

Honestly I feel like most of his addons are uninspired or poor in execution if not in principle. I've been tempted to make a post about the direction add-ons in general and probably will at this point. I'm surprised at how bad a lot of the perks and addons turned out to be despite how interesting demogorgon's gameplay is.

Agreed, It's not even that his addons are bad per sé, he has a couple great ones IMO, but they're all pretty bland. I've noticed this becoming worse since Plague, and thinking "wow these addons are all really uninteresting and simple" way back during her PTB.

Compared to say Wraith's reworked addons, where a lot of them offer various playstyles, synergies and gimmicks, one has to wonder what happened.

  • It's what it should've done in addition to what it does now, I like the idea of using the undetectable more to create a sneaky Demo playstyle, but it doesn't work with a global announcement of "hey here I come" along with super loud, stompy footsteps

  • I wish BHVR would just stop with the Blind Status addons, they're so bad and it doesn't even function properly as you can still see the location of survivors getting hooked while blind. Blindness addons have pathetic durations aswell for the most part

  • I don't understand why you'd want to nerf Freddy, he's far from overpowered, there's numerous killers better than him, but here we are, nitpicking that his snares which apply a minor slow if you walk through them but only if you're asleep and are giant, glowing bright red pools of blood, don't have a downside. Oh yeah and they take time to arm and Freddy does a very clear animation placing them.

    Yeah, okay.

    No.

  • Felt appropriate.

My opinion can be summed up as: OP is right, Ruin worshippers haven't ever actually played good survivors, and this discussion is sadly pointless anyway because the devs will not ever balance the game around this level of play, no matter how much you whine, plea, discuss or what have you.

And as much as it pains to say, its probably for the best, because the majority of the playerbase would not be able to handle it. Frankly, at this point, getting this game "truely balanced" would require a complete overhaul of the game and its core mechanics. It won't happen. My advice is to not take the game too seriously. But I think you all know this.

why?? if its cuz of the new killer being low then lol cuz the new killers perk suck a lot and extremly weak, his power are ez to dought and find extremly weak

Yes and No, Demogorgon is much stronger than you seem to think he is and I'm afraid you just suck, but it's not just Demo, it's basically the entire list, there's pretty much not a single placement I agree with.

Spirit above Nurse is a complete ######### joke.

Pig, Freddy and Doctor don't belong in A tier, they're closer to low B or even C.

How the hell do you have Hillbilly in the same tier as Plague or Trapper, or worse even CLOWN OR LEGION???? WHAT? I don't know what planet you're from but Clown, Legion and Trapper are atrociously bad and although Plague is typically underrated, she is too high here IMO.

Hag, Myers, Ghostface and Huntress in C tier, below Plague, Trapper, Legion, Clown, Pig and Doctor, yeah, sure dude, again, what planet is this?

Demogorgon D tier is a complete joke and just shows you have no idea how it works at all, I could accept high C or low B maybe, but even then I think that's still rather low for him frankly.

Leatherface and Wraith are your only placements I can understand. And I do mean understand, I don't even necessarily agree with them.

  • Congratulations on making probably the worst list ever?

  • Right, and? If you're the last survivor and he's closed the hatch, by all rights he should be in the advantage, how many more chances do you need to win the game?

Doctor isn't a strong Killer to begin with, if you let it get that far, you and/or your team simply played poorly, it's senseless to nerf a killer just cause you feel it's ''unfair'' in one very specific scenario, where you're in a losing position to begin with.

  • Iron Will only prevents the grunting sounds you make when you're injured, nothing else. If you want to prevent the random screaming, use Calm Spirit.

That said, Doctor doesn't need nerfs, at all, it's part of his kit and one of his only real strengths.

  • Clown is caught in this endless cycle of becoming worse and worse and buggier and buggier as the community keeps telling themselves he's good or underrated, the fact that some guy here is saying he's A tier while having spent a lot of time on Clown is frankly depressing, almost as depressing as Clown's face.

Clown isn't ignored because he's boring, or basic, or is a DLC with mediocre perks. He's ignored cause he's complete garbage, dumpster tier and is easily one of the worst if not the worst Killer in the entire game, as OP mentioned his entire existence is a placebo and more often than not a lot of the time you think your Gas got you a hit, you would've gotten that same hit without the gas as well. The only and I mean ONLY time his power functions is if Survivors for some reason try to actually fight a long loop vs Clown and respect the gas, in which case yes, it does that, but smart survivors will simply disrespect it entirely, leave the loop as you grab your bottle, or camp the pallet, and you're boned.

The fact of the matter is all he has is ''Anti Loop'', he doesn't have actual chase because throwing bottles slows him down and the bottles are INSANELY slow as projectiles. So what does that leave him with? No pressure, no mobility, no snowball, no hard punish. He has NOTHING but this one gimmick, and if players are smart, he even sucks at that.

He needs Flask of Bleach baseline, with FoB staying to bring it up to 25% with the addon, Gas should blur the vision of survivors a bit more baseline, and the gas' slow should also work on Vaulting/Action speeds, by which I mean, while in the gas, survivors take 20% longer to drop pallets and vault pallets or windows, this could give him the opportunity to actually punish pallet camping in some capacity. Additionally as mentioned he needs to not slow down when throwing bottles, a Power that is meant to Slow survivors slowing yourself is ridiculous. It might sound like a lot, but again, this is the ONLY thing his power is made for and the ONLY thing it CAN do, he NEEDS to be good at chase/loops or he loses every time (like he does now) and right now, he just isn't.

  • Sorry if this comes across as rude, but are you really happy with The Plague's addons? I feel like compared to some of Spirit's and especially reworked Wraith's addons they are very bland.

  • Billy, without a doubt, followed by Myers.
