It feels disconcerting that they haven’t mentioned what these huge changes could mean for console. And whether they have any plans for this gen.
Will current platforms miss the graphic overhaul entirely? What about cross play? It certainly sounded as if they planned cross play for the current generation but with the dip in FPS I think it would be problematic and surely they can’t do one without the other?
Or maybe they are just going to ignore current gen all together, which is fine I suppose... I just wish they would confirm what their plan was.
A simple yes we are doing a graphics overhaul and cross play but only on next gen would have answered everything.
Or even if they plan to optimize console on this generation but that’s wishful thinking at this point.

Don't get me wrong, I like Silent Hill. I do think it's iconic, especially with the siren. But again, there are franchises out there that are above it.

theres always going to be franchises and media that can be considered more iconic. I didn’t like the ghost face chapter because Jason is more iconic and they’re only allowed to release chapters that are the most iconic at the time.. do you see where I’m going with this. Silent hill is hugely iconic, especially in the world of video games, I think many forget or don’t know that silent hill completely changed the game for horror in gaming.

Damn this thread makes me kinda sad. The silent hill video games had a huge influence on horror in both video games and movies.
The world and characters are incredibly deep and interesting.
i guess and I mean no offense in this but I think a lot of the crowd for DBD are very young now. Because silent hill hasn’t had a release in a long time perhaps many don’t know just what pyramid head and silent hill did for us back then. But that feeling when pyramid head stalked me as the air raid sirens blared in silent hill 2 has never been matched and I’m so excited.

It doesn't work at all if your not having problems your probably not playing with Friends
