  • I love the idea. It makes the effect more impactful and threatening.

    Questions:

    • When a survivor gets the Blindness, how will the UI be hidden? Will it be gone in a snap? Or will it fade away in a few milliseconds then reappear the same way?
    • Will the survivors get briefly the “Blindness” notification while everything else is hidden? If it’s not shown, some may believe it’s a bug.
  • @Gocee Looks like they haven’t read then.

It seems that someone released this information a few months ago

I’m sorry to break your bubble, but this isn’t what the reality is. The 7.0 Beta rolled out a month ago and we have nothing of those. The Beta has HDR manual settings, 16 player party chat and future updates that won’t no more require reboots.

The PS4 is reaching its end life cycle, and Sony is obviously shifting its focus on the upcoming PS5. I bet those features will be on the next gen console.

Rumours are rumours, so take them with a pinch of salt.

As it stands right now, BHVR needs to integrate a Trophy Progress in-game.

I agree that the new trophies are directly tied to the new perks, but I don't think any of us was talking about trophies popping retroactively (correct me if I'm wrong). We would all have to start from 0 at every dlc like we should but at least we would be able to keep track of progress and understand what does and what doesn't count towards the trophy instead of guessing and hoping.

Exactly. Since previous actions don’t count retroactively towards new trophies, I don’t mind to do them from scratch. All matters is to know what does or doesn’t count towards trophies.

  • @Peanits Do you think that a such feature will be possible?

  • @Gcarrara So tell me, are you a forum moderator? Do you have the power to pass my suggestion to the dev team?

Wow, didn't know PS4 didn't have it embedded like on Steam or Xbox.

So on long term achievements (Feast for the entity, Deep Cleansing etc.) PS4 users have no way to know how much they still have to do to complete it? It's either a "Do have" or "Don't have" ? 😮

Sadly it has been like this for 11 years. Only an handful of games would have an in-game trophy progress menu.

I was hoping sony would do this just as a whole in general but yeah bhvr should definitely consider doing this.

Sony should implement this system, but until then BHVR should make it trackable in-game.

This is something I would love to see too as well as an in game stat tracking page. As there are times when trophies and achievements get added and required x amount of this action but despite doing it 1000 times before the addition we now have to do it even more. An game stat page would allow for retro active trophies and achievements

Nice to hear that I’m not alone for this demand.

You don't know what you're asking for. Taking One For The Team is the most horrible, grinding achievement which can be only completed by doing an excessive amount of dumb saves. There are at least two "Protection" score events, one is when you get hit near a hook, but only if the freshly unhooked survivor is still there. This one is 200 BP, and only this registers score for the achievement. Any other protection (like when an injured teammate is chased and you block the killer and take a hit) is 100 BP, and DOES NOT register. And if I'm correct, taking hits from a carrying killer sometimes register, sometimes not.

So, basically, you have to do stupid saves, get in the killer's way and take a hit. If he's trying to be nice, he won't go after the unhhoked one, but then you'll go down fast enough. You'll screw up your team, and they'll be mad at you... and they'll be right. I should know, I got this achievement ;)

Seriously, it's by far the worst achievement in the game.

Well, Wounded Healer can be seen as the second worst survivor achievement then. I used for a while No Meither perk so I can heal other survivors without getting healed, but it doesn’t seem to ever count from the beginning. So I decided lately to remove the perk and simply take the hit for each survivor getting chased or carried to a hook, then I go rescuing and healing others I see via my Empathy perk. I’m convinced that it’s bugged.

I even suggested to change the conditions this Taking One For the Team achievement should have in the thread below:

Hello BHVR, I’m excited to see Bill coming to consoles.

they most likely they will but I haven't even got take one for the team on steam yet.Now with the EGC how we get left for dead now?

You gotta take risks and attempts, hoping that the killer doesn’t close the hatch? I’d work on the last generator until it’s almost finished, then wait until the 3th survivor is dead so I finish it, this is what I plan to do.
