  • Its me again! if any developer is here I would like to know if this bug is currently being fixed/the ETA? I understand you guys may have other things to do but this bug is extremely frustrating to deal with because it's been here for years and completely negates most of legion's considered anti-loop

I respect the effort you’ve put into this write-up — Legion mains deserve a voice and you clearly thought this through. The problem isn’t that your ideas are badly structured, it’s that they’re trying to polish a design that was never really healthy for the game in the first place.

The core issue with Legion has always been the same: Frenzy was designed around mass injury, free Deep Wound spam, and constant wallhacks. On paper that makes him “pressure heavy.” In practice, it just means survivors sit around mending over and over while killers still struggle to secure downs. Nobody’s actually having fun. Survivors don’t feel scared, they feel bored or annoyed. Killers don’t feel threatening, they feel like they’re nickel-and-diming survivors until the match drags to an end.

That’s why I don’t think buffing Frenzy’s speed or add-ons solves the core problem — it just doubles down on the unfun part of Legion’s design. The healthier path forward would be to reframe Frenzy as a chase enhancer rather than a free-injure gimmick:

    • No automatic Deep Wound. Let Frenzy help you stick to a target instead of turning the entire lobby into a mending simulator.
    • No free Killer Instinct radar. Legion doesn’t need built-in wallhacks — it removes the tension of actually tracking survivors.
    • Frenzy gives haste, faster vaults, and short bursts of momentum so Legion becomes the “relentless pursuer.” Survivors still get to play instead of mending nonstop, and killers actually feel like their power closes chases.
    • Add-ons like Mixtapes could then enhance different chase flavors (vault speed, stamina, breaking actions), instead of just being “more mending tax.”

That way, Legion finally has a clear and healthy identity: the knife-wielding pursuer who won’t stop chasing you down. Not the “bleed-out bot” who artificially drags matches on.

The reality is that BHVR keeping Legion the way he is has nothing to do with fun. He’s their “proof” that survivors aren’t always the power role (because Legion matches either drag forever or collapse instantly), even though everyone involved hates the experience. Reworking Frenzy into an actual chase tool would be the first time Legion felt like a real horror villain instead of a design crutch.

hello! and thank you for reading this submission for what I believe legion's buffs should be! and I think your way of how legion should be handled is quite healthier, however my core idea is to keep legion's current basekit and revise it but not overdo it, currently legion mainly resides as a (noobstomper as people may say) and although that may seem true, he is very weak compared to other killers, which is why I wanted to buff the main issues he has had and to make him be able to be more powerful without making him overly reliant on a status effect, currently I believe behavior has done an okay job buffing him on patch 8.6.0, but I do believe he should receive more buffs, and again thank you for reading this submission, I think your take on his changes and what should be added instead are quite nice and it would get rid of his (oppressiveness) I hope you have a nice day!

I respect what you bring here! and thank you for reading what I believe should be legion's changes, honestly I could see this being legion as a rework of sorts, more or less I wanted to keep legion's identity without making him different, legion has had a "rework" but the core idea has been the same, but your idea is a good idea for a rework to make him less oppressive, most of what I came up with is to try and make legion a bit more powerful without making him more oppressive, but even thats hard to do, but I wanted to keep the core idea of him mainly the same, one of legion's problems is just holding W, survivors can quickly hold W or pre run and legion won't catch up as fast as he mainly should, and also how he seems unfairly less balanced with speed compared to other killers, your design is absolutely more healthy and I thank you again for reading my buff ideas for him!

  • This has been in the game for so long and i've always thought it was part of how game afoot was made, thanks for reporting this because i've always thought otherwise, and that honestly made game afoot weak

Wow, I don't even know where to begin! Thank you for the time and care for this analysis, I really do appreciate ♥️😘. About the fatigue speed and duration, as I said in the previous comment, I'm no expert of what it's op, balanced, bad, toxic or good for the game (Hell, I'm a newbie with only 1000 hours and an obsession with Legion, it's not like I'm smart enough to play some killer like Billy or Blight), so the numbers are just what I imagined would be okay, in my head makes sense, you know? But these numbers can absolutely change and, about some of the specific patches that were made in order to make the game healthier (like the vaulting speed one), I only was being showing my selfish opinion, lots of people don't agree with me and that's okay. Overall, the only changes I think >SHOULD< be added to Legion are the Fundamental and the Intermediate ones, the last one is just creative ideas I had 😅. Thank you so much for your time and I hope you have a nice day!! Please make sure to check out my other posts about Legion if you're interested.

completely understandable! we all have our own opinions on buffs, etc etc, I do like what you believe legion should be changed/buffed at! alot of people like myself have similar opinions on where he should be buffed at and your no different, I tried my best to explain each one and I hope you found it helpful! I dont think your opinion was selfish in any way, opinions will always be someone's thoughts on things no matter how someone will look at it, thanks for the response and I hope you have a good day!

  • I do like these changes but there is a few things I personally myself would change!

    fatigue speed and duration

overcomplicating it could cause it to be a big decrease to the skill floor due to it each time being eaiser to hit the next survivor, it should more or less be about sealing the deal and the fatigue speed I do believe should be updated, however the duration is fine concurrently, 2.5 is the same as other killer's fatigue however his speed or curve is what I recommend should be changed, imo tatariu did it best (0.5 going deaccelerating from feral frenzy speed) this in turns passively buffs mural sketch (1.5 seconds staying at 2.3-2.7 fatigue speed) this is dependent but I do believe going past 2.8 m/s might be too much… (0.5 going to base 4.6) this is currently in the game already.

    feral frenzy cooldown

this is where I do believe you are mainly correct, but I do think it should be more or less at 12 seconds, 10 seconds at base seems nice for mobility but again, we want him to still have the need to wait, but the cooldown having less time per hit is something I do enjoy in your changes, it makes him slightly more dynamic

feral frenzy speed and blood pools/scratch marks

6 m/s is absolutely good for legion, I dont see why they haven't done this yet, but the blood pools/scratch marks should still be allowed to see before a hit, however after a feral slash you should be able to get away without it due to killer instinct, this is an idea, and I understand what your getting at, but it gives him something he does have in his kit (which is tracking) after hitting a survivor, but in fairness, he should see these before a feral slash

    vaulting perks synergy

I may have to disagree with this, I do understand why they removed unbound from working, and fire up, etc etc, I hate it yes but remember wesker and kenaki who are absolutely better than legion gets better value out of this then he does.

    my opinion

well I dont think many of your changes are bad at all, I do think they are pretty good and may make him better than oppressive, but the main reason he was heavily nerfed is because of his oppressiveness, these changes are slightly over extending on that, I didn't talk about add ons because I would rather have basekit changes than add ons, again you did good on this but I feel like these may make him feel overly oppressive, I firmly believe legion should receive more buffs basekit, but we also want to make him feel more dynamic and increase his skill ceiling to use more of his abilites, but also allow more new players to have an eaiser time to pick up and play! thats about it, and I hope you have a fantastic day.

No more buffs for legion. I am sick of facing them, all running the same iri button spirit fury thana builds.

The only way to stop this is funnily enough, giving him buffs, while this may increase his pickrate it will also allow better variation of his perks.

Which would make him low A tier at best, he rests in F tier for a while.

I think its best to not make him that due to his hate, I want him to be more B- or C+ just so he has a good playerbase and power but also not hated

I think >these< changes were a bit overboard. Especially the iri button base kit, but several others. With these, Legion would just turn into a closer version to Kaneki, don't you think?

I forgot to say to not add iri button due to that but no not really overboard, they are increasing and buffing legion's power which helps get faster downs but also allowing survs to still have a good chance for an escape, the whole point of my update was to allow it to be more rewarding for doing correct counterplay against legion, and make legion a better 1v1 killer then he currently is, but I understand where your getting from!

I stated my opinions on how to make legion better (good at least) as this won't make him B or A anyway, but…

→ Increase speed of feral frenzy from 6m/s to 7m/s

→ Increase duration of FF to 15s

→ Reduce slashes needed to instadown from 5 to 4

→ Decrease FF cooldown from 3s to 1.9s

→ Increase movement speed bonus per hit from 0.2m/s to 0.5m/s

→ Give him iridescent button basekit

    → Give him ruler basekit

nice! here are some changes I would do to it… (with my current opinion)

speed reduced to 6.3m/s (was 7m/s)

reverted the change of 2.7 FF cooldown speed back to 2.3 to compensate for 1.9 fatigue time (or make his fatigue 2.1-2.3)

thats kinda the only issues I see with it, so yeah I kinda like it, maybe slightly overtuned but not very harsh.

I really like these ideas, I totally agree with you. I posted some suggestions for changes to Legion in my account, you should definitely check it out.

I did! however I do think you went a little overboard imo, but I do like what you were trying to do with it, maybe a few tweaks and it would be pretty good!

Legion is now just worse ghoul. He really needs some love

this is probably (hopefully) some easy buffs for him, I didn't want to make a whole rework to his add ons or basekit but some noticeable changes which makes his counterplay more rewarding when pulled off and also increase his chase power.

another qol update for legion would be these

you can now choose your chase music regardless of addon
The chase theme now plays during frenzy regardless if your chasing or not

honestly, I like that idea, but I feel like it should be a muffled version of it, until the killer meets another survivor perhaps?
