2 Years later, i have the same issue rn. My last addon just got taken while i had a black ward on lol.

Came across the video and now it makes sense why some killerpowers spawn edge map.
I play a little more survivor than killer, but this has to be fixed for games to be balanced, like people have said above me, prioritising killerpowers and then chests after would fix these problems.

Giving one side the potential to "nerf" the otherside by bringing chest offerings is not a good idea/not balanced.
By making it prioritise the killer power spawns first, the games will be more equal and thus the collected game data you always mention would be more accurate too. Win-Win. -

I'd like to add, if you swing whilst in the portal, you'll be stuck with the black portal effect for the remainder of the match. Unless you take another portal.

That's the usual thing. People who abused cheap and busted Add-On's will now succ arse with new Base Billy because they won't have busted crap anymore.
People who played base kit Billy before will do just as fine with current Billy since those People didn't rely on certain Add-On's to win Matches.
Same happened when Nurse got reworked. People lost their precious Omega/3-5 Blink Nurse and then said the Killer was trash after the Rework but that's not the case because People who played Basekit Nurse before will do the same with current Nurse, I still think she needs other Basekit Changes and make her less miserable. Billy went from Garbage to pretty much the same as before but with actual slight basekit Changes and Restrictions which won't affect good Billy's but also nerfed the busted Add-On's.
Nurse already had Restrictions and now it's worse. They should've just increased the fatigue time since the Counter to Nurse makes more sense (hiding from her LoS while she can't see anything). But currently she sees you and can just hold W and don't you dare mess up a Blink because you didn't wait for the 100 % but only 98.9 % so no 2nd Blink for you (which is the most frustrating Part).
Try to curve now, i bet you weren't even a billy main.
