Still happening. Actually, now it appears to be happening with every single medkit. They all have something like half a charge less than they're supposed to.

Why is this still going on? I just lost a game because of it.

Same thing has happened to me a bunch of times with a bunch of different medkits. Happened last game as well; here's my log file.

I honestly think MMR feels a lot better. I notice it primarily while learning killers, something I never used to do before (I learned a couple of killers up front but then never played anything else because of how killer rank used to work). Since the MMR change, I will play a new killer and it seems to always follow the same pattern: I lose two matches to competent survivors, then 4k around 5 matches against terrible survivors as I'm learning the killer, and then they gradually get better and more challenging up until I finally get stomped and have to start queue dodging SWFs with 3 flashlights and a key.
I honestly feel like we must have different ideas of what "sweaty" means, because for me I don't start feeling like the team is sweaty until they're trying for flashlight stuns on every pickup and 3-man body blocking late hooks. And honestly, even on the killers I'm good at (which I think I play at medium-high MMR) I'm only getting those players once every two or three games, especially if I watch for patterns in rooms I get into for SWFs. Meta perks and genrushing aren't sweaty, they're just how you're supposed to play if you want to escape.
What the game really needs (and has always needed) is an unranked mode. It seems like half the community prefers casual, low-stress play, and a "normal game" queue would really help. No idea why this still isn't a thing.

I play Solo survivor almost exclusively- or else I play with one friend but we don't communicate (so the only advantage is that I won't be left to die on my first hook by lousy team mates).
The past 2 weeks have been atrocious for both of us when it comes to camping and tunneling. I dropped 3 Ranks because of it (from Rank 3 to Rank 6). It's just about every single game now. And I'm not being generous or broad when I describe camping/tunneling. I mean a Killer staying mere paces from the hook and waiting for the rescue, then chasing down the freshly unhooked survivor immediately, even beyond Borrowed Time, even if they eat a DS.
A LOT of these Killers were Rank 1. Deathslinger? Hooks his first survivor and just walks away from the hook, waits and aims. Wraith? Well I have never seen a Wraith who doesn't just cloak a few paces from the hook. Ghostface? Stealths by the hook behind a rock, exposes the unhooked survivor, downs immediately. Huntress? Stands on a hill aiming an axe at the hook.
And who hasn't heard of a tunneling Spirit?
The problem for Solos is not just the fact we can't communicate with team mates around scummy tactics like this, is that it's an guaranteed de-pip because those strangers we're grouped with *immediately disconnect*. Or kill themselves on the hook. Last night we had a basement camping Oni, and 2 survivors disconnected at the same time because they were just done with it. So my friend and I are left in an impossible situation ( 4 generators left, like we're gonna get out). Yet this Oni tries to slug us both. God forbid we get any unhook points.
I feel bad because I'm the one who introduced this game to my friend, and now he's too irritated to carry on. What's the point? It's the same crap game after game.
Solo survivors are just the forgotten filler material between the Killer/SWF. SWF has a tremendous advantage over Killers. So Killers change tactics and get buffed to be able to oppose them (as they should!). But Solos just fall between the cracks, and I often feel like Behaviour is just throwing Solos to the Killers to keep them coming back because compared to SWF, they're easy to decimate.
"I have never seen a Wraith who doesn't just cloak a few paces from the hook."
It's really difficult to take the rest of this seriously when you use hyperbole this bad. I see Wraiths do what you're talking about maybe 1 in 5 games, and I'm in red ranks.

"I've also noticed that it's reportable, which makes me think that, whether or not anyone is actually ever punished for doing it, it's at least considered "against the rules" to the degree that the game has rules."
This is incorrect, the Bodyblocking you are describing is totally fine and intended. You can hit the Survivors as Killer so they lose Collision with every other player, allowing you to move forward. "But then I might drop the Survivor?!"<---that is the point.
Bodyblocking is a bannable offense when you do it as a griefing method. When the Killer or another Survivor is blocking a Survivor into a Corner without any intention to move. This is a bannable offense. Bodyblocking to avoid a player getting hooked or bodyblocking someone into a Corner to get a Hit in are not bannable.
Ah, ok. I guess I just misunderstood what that meant in the reporting tab. I guess I assumed it was there because it feels super scummy every time it happens; my example above with the exit gates was a situation where there was no counterplay to the survivors doing that... either I dropped the survivor I was carrying and she crawled out the exit gate and they all escaped, or I injured all her teammates and they all escaped.
Honestly, survivors get upset about NOED and face camping, but if I'd done those things it would have easily been a 4k. Instead I got blocked off a hook and flashlight clicked in the exit gate, then trash talked in the lobby. Even if none of that is abuse, it still feels that way.
Also, I still feel like the logic of my point stands: why exactly can't I shove a crouching, 90 lb. Fen Ming away from a hook without having to hit her with something? I can kick a wooden pallet in half in like two seconds, but a tiny girl in a bunny suit is an immovable object.

I don't tunnel unless I feel like I am being disrespected. The most common time I find myself tunneling is when it's a 4-man SWF and they keep going for unhooks within like three seconds of the hook. Like, sure, I'll go somewhere else and let the unhook happen, but unhooking that fast says to me, "I think you're such a ######### killer that you can't even do anything about it when I unhook right next to you." So I'll turn around, down the recent unhook, pick them up, hit one of the bodyblockers, drop the survivor, hit the other two bodyblockers, pick the first one back up and hook, pretend to "chase" the team's bait away from the hook, then turn around three seconds later and down the just-unhooked survivor again.
Survivors seem to have all these rules on killer etiquette, but it appears that most people believe that if you're the survivor you can do whatever you want. That sequence of events described above is what happened in my last match. But added to that, obviously you had flashlight clicking, t-bagging behind dropped pallets, etc. So their strongest looper (who really went out of her way to prove it to me for the first two minutes) got tunneled and I got a 4k because I left the two weakest players for last, who naturally tried to imitate the stronger players but couldn't pull off the same tricks. No doubt their red-ranked friends were raging at them in comms for not saving them and outplaying the terrible killer, because in my experience people like that can't help but rage.
tldr; Don't start nuthin', won't be nuthin'. At least in my case.

Survivors are the real killers.
The real killers are the friends we made along the way.

Pretty poorly, overall.
I just started playing about ten days ago. I'm at rank 12 on survivor and killer at the moment. I play mostly late at night on the US west coast.
Last night in particular, nearly every killer game was against a group of rank 5s (I assume this means they were rank 1s until a couple of days ago). I think I pipped once in six matches, and depipped twice.
Of the few survivor games I played last night, the first one was with a 3-man SWF, all of whom had TTV in their name. I turned on one of their streams during the match so I could get some passive information on what they were doing. It turned out what they were doing was raging at me for various things, like not healing one of them (I walked over to heal her and she started using her medkit while I stood there, then complained about me), or not saving one of them from the hook (the killer was standing right there and I was injured... both other members of their SWF were also right there and uninjured, but they wanted to do a gen instead). After the first of them died on that hook, she started spectating and telling them exactly what I was doing (repairing gens) while the other two of them just ran around looking for the hatch and talking about how they didn't want to win, they just wanted me to lose. When I finally did die (with one of the SWF team left up) they all cheered. Naturally they never managed to find the hatch, and the last member ended up in the post game lobby 30 seconds later with a death.
Of the other survivor matches I played, two of them had someone complaining at the end after being sacrificed.
It's weird, but the first week and a half of this game wasn't like this for me. I mean, matchmaking gave me bad matchups with red ranks, but it was rarely an entire non-swf team of them, and never over and over in every match. And it seems like people have gotten a lot saltier as well. Does this happen after every reset?
