also the repairing time should be expanded!
I play both sides and I know how easy it is, to destroy or even counter the Ruin:
in order to destroy it, run:
Small game
Detective's hunch
also take a map or simply search for the common spawning locations
in order to counter:
tap the gen
run Stake out
keep repairing
So, survivors HAVE THE PERKS TO COUNTER THE RUIN.
When I play as a killer the gens will be done quickly! It doesn't matter how cleverly / fairy you play. There is always a sneaky peaky surv who does only repairing.
As result :
after the match an average survivor gets a pip for repairing /healing + avoiding or stealth.
the killer gets a black pip
This is satire, right?

Thanks for your answer :)
For the third person mode, it would be useful, but I think that it would be more challenging and more fitting with the killer staying in first person mode ( A killer without a predator's point of view, I think it loses the thrill of hunting ) . :)
Thanks for responding! I can see you’ve spent some time on this idea and your very talented! Never stop doing what your doing as long as you enjoy it 😉

Very cool! 😎 Its very sad the devs haven’t thought of this yet. I love this idea! Reminds me of SCP. I like the concept of another non-human killer. It would be very fun to mess with people this way! Would the killer be sent to third person mode when they take survivor form?

This is a very cool idea! Very interesting concept 😁

Nice concept! This has some nice potential! Her weapon could be those little cane things they pull people off stage with. The mori tho.. No idea for what it could be. Maybe she spins her cane-like weapon around, plant it straight into their back and stomps on their head with heels? Thats just what I thought. Anyways, nice perks and concept 😁👍

What if they dc?
They get banned for 1 year, all cosmetics taken away and can only use the perk “spies from the shadows”

What if it's spirit? Or nurse?
Then you get to enjoy the mori even more 😉

Very cool creation! I wish the devs would do something with this idea!

Freddy-
Freddy has no counter-play for any of his powers. You cannot interact with any of his powers in order to give Survivors a way to counter his abilities. When Freddy uses his dream snares he has no cool down or slowdown when putting them down. This almost always guarantees a free hit or down when trying to loop him. Also if you choose o disable the snares he gets a notification and can put them down again immediately. Then with his Dream Pallets, survivors can put them down, although similar to his snares he can put them back up almost immediately. While as a survivor you can remember where real pallets are, this is a unrealistic expectation for an entire team to do. Ways to provide counter play for survivors would be to give a cool down on his abilities for 20 seconds for each use. Also for his teleport make to so he has to commit to teleporting it and can't cancel it, giving survivors more options for counter-play. Another option for counter-play would be taking out the timer for the dream state and make Freddy have to manually put survivors into it. This would give survivors ways to counter his Swing Chains add-ons. Also a small quality of life change would be when survivors are put into the dream state and miss skill checks to wake themselves up, Freddy doesn't gain a notification, this would give survivor play styles more options for counter-play while still punishing them for failing.
Ghostface-
Ghostface and his Night Shroud ability is one of the best stealth abilities in the game, with no down sides. He has power creeped almost every other stealth killer in the game. He also has no down side when being broken out of his ability. Also with the broken reveal mechanic with his power when he leans around a corner makes him uncounterable. Ways to give survivors a counter to his power would be to make the reveal mechanic actually work when a survivor looks at him. Also since he has no warning before he strikes unlike Wraith they should either give Ghostface a warning sound or something before he attacks or give him 110% movement speed. Also another quality of life change would to give his addons that give his power a faster recharge rate a slight nerf.
I agree with the freddy swing chain thing. “Lol just wake up” yea your only gonna be awake for 60 seconds max. I feel bad for you because you respond with valid points and people just say “git gud”. With ghostface, Im not gonna comment because I rarely play against him but at times it does feel like taking him out of stalk is a pain.

by placing traps, don't tell me you are just chasing people with hag like any other killer esp on really good loops
Still don’t see how hag’s traps could benefit you. If anything setting the trap would push a survivor away to a new loop, and survivors like to destroy traps A LOT. And even then those traps would be useless most of the time because of the reduced speed. You would still probably get a pallet dropped on you.

Ghostface and Billy. I don’t see how Ghostface is anywhere remotely in the Top 5.
Billy is a top tier killer but he is on the lower end. I still believe Hag is better. Billy can get looped easily. Something Nurse, Spirit, and Hag are great at dealing with.
how can HAG deal with looping? Not only does she have reduced speed, Her power is basically useless against loops unless you trap every loop, and even then it might not even be that useful.

Put them all in their own queue together and watch how they begin to realise how annoying DCs are when they can't play a proper game anymore because everyone constantly DCs.
Like that one fighting game I can’t remember. I like it

It is very simple.
You dc, you are not allowed to play for an hour ( first offense).
Everytime you do dc, this cooldown increases up until a week. It can not be reset.
That sounds good, but how would connection disconnects work? And I think the hour ban should be 2 DCs within a couple of hours of each other. Maybe one or 2?

Oh boy you haven’t been gaming long if you think this is toxic.
This IS toxic, just not in the traditional way.
let me explain, when you think toxic, you think of trash talking, death threats, suicide threats, trolling, and ddos-ing
Dbd has trash talking, some death threats here and there, very little suicide threats and thats it. So what makes it so bad? Everything that isn’t dbd but dbd related (dbd content on YouTube, mostly.) Constantly on every youtube video about dbd people get into arguments ( and talk a lot of ######### ) about everything, whether nurse nerf is justified, what perks are good, killer is easy mode, killers need nerfs, this perk needs a nerf, this killer is bad, etc. If you don’t believe me, I DARE you to go on any dbd yt video and find ONE comment that hasn’t sparked an argument thread where one person curses the other out.

That would probably work better than my idea. I feel like there should be more addons that do very unique things (like give certain powerups or boosts when activating the doll, which can be in or out of a chase, and would do things like respawn the closest pallet, give a speed boost or increased gen repair speed for a limited time.)

Nope, Have to wait until literally everyone gets everything done and then you can kill the obsession.
I’ve always interpreted the perk as “save the obsession for last” since they get the exposed effect at the END and everybody else’s aura is shown with each gen done. So that you could track and sacrafice the other people whilst the obsession gets the other gens done, and by the time the obsession gets all the gens done everybody is either dead or injured, then you can easily find the obsession, and kill them. But hey its your choice on what to make of Rancor but thats just what I do.
-
Building off of your idea, I think that idea would work best as a super rare item from either the bloodweb or chests that lets you either revive people by interacting with their dead body or the hook they died on. Alternatively, if the carrier dies, They will spectate their dead body and be able to respawn if the item is still on them. So if you want to be a jerk, you can take the doll and fully take away their ability to respawn.
-
Sounds like a pretty unique idea for a perk, but kind of OP. Maybe an addon for a future killer or an existing one would work?

Yes but Devour Hope and Rancor have set conditions.
Devour Hope Requires you to hook survivors.
Rancor requires you to sit back and let all the survivors escape except the obsession.
Moris exist but are hard to find in bloodwebs at times. But still you need to hook them at least once then you can kill them.
For Rancor isn’t it the opposite of that?

This is so true. I'll watch my gf play, and so many times you'd swear the killer saw her, but she just calmy crouch walks to the nearest nook or cover and stays still, more often then not the killer will waltz right on by. It actually opened my eyes to just how much I can be missing as a Killer.
Ikr! If you’ve ever watched videos of youtubers playing against streamers, you will see small insignificant moments like going to patrol a gen, and in the streamers pov they’re hiding behind a tree with the best positioning and understanding of movement ever. It’s really surprising how much stuff killers can miss.
-
Try using an immersion build (urban evasion, quick and quiet, iron will, distortion) either that or try not freaking out when a killer is nearby. Sometimes they come in your area and don’t know you’re there, but once you start running they know you’re there. Only run away from the killer if you KNOW for a FACT that they know your exact position. Also, you should never run if the killer isn’t chasing you. Running to a generator or just anywhere in general will leave scratch mark trails that will lead the killer to you. Hope this helps!

Because that's what happened in one of my games last night.
We played a very good ghostface but when I was on the hook I could see what the fellow survivors were doing - basically just walking around aimlessly. No-one doing gens. At all. I think we were all spooked because the killer got 3 early hooks.
Still though its ridiculous. How is it even possible not one gen got done....
That happened to me today too with a ghostface. I guess survivors get all scared when people play ghostface
