Most games have the UI spread out, as I said I think looking at the right place at the right time will just take time getting used to.

you shouldn't have to look all over the screen and look "at the right time" cause you could miss information and that's horrid.

There's no way I'm touching killer until this UI gets fixed. I'll save myself the headache

sadly i doubt it will be fixed, the back lash will have to be pretty hard and with all the people that pay for the cosmetics that got released with today, it's not going to be fixed any time soon .

I'm starting to feel that way. They said they wanted our opinions but I think that was a way to tell all the steam players to stfu and if nothing gets changed by the next chapter I might drop this game for good. It's not worth the pain and eye strain

i can't blame you, i'm up to 2,200 hours and after all this i'm considering dropping it over the UI i can get over the new animation, but with the UI and the map "rebalances" auto haven maps didn't even get loops touched still nothing but safe loops all over the map i may just be done, hope the devs are happy with 15 minute survivor ques cause that's one less killer .

I'm sad to say that this might top off the twins chapter. Graphics and Animations are awesome but the new UI is absolute dog #########. Hopefully they listen and do something about it

considering they didn't when they had the feedback from the ptb and even the fogwhispers, where saying it's bad i doubt they truly care what we think.

even a monkey would have designed the hud better

i disagree, got to give the devs a small amount of credit, like the old UI looked nice and everything was in a good stop to keep track of, so they had a good UI a monkey couldn't have made that.

  • @herrik666 said:

I don't think it looks that bad. The old one does look better, but they said they needed to space everything up in order to fit more stuff that they want to put in. I think it just takes some getting used to.

If they put anything more on that UI you're not going to be able to see or keep track of ANYTHING it already looks like a mess and no one can look everywhere at once it just makes everyone's game play experience worse.

Ah i think the ui might grow on me, but not the animations. They are just stiff, looks early acces, very unpleasant to watch.

Not sure how the UI could grow on you when it looks like the old one exploded, it it a constant strain on so may players eyes and causes headaches, i haven't played the update but i'v seen enough though streams to know it's not worth playing.

The worst update in DBD history, can’t decide whats worse.. the new HUD or the new survivor movement.. can’t even 360 anymore.

Don't really care about the 360's they didn't work half the times anyways the UI is ######### for sure though.

  • @Diet_Boi said:

They do not work atm :(

Welp, rip hope they're fixed soon really, wanted to dick around with them today to.

  • No not at all, i wanted to know what addons are turning into what, i know what they do.

  • i'v bitched about the items 3 other times, they are way to hard to get i don't think it's a bug i think it's the devs being lazy or something since it was so dam easy to get the items for every other event.

  • @Plu said:

Then idk, it's very weird cuz it works fine in the matches i play, maybe a bug or something.

today it seams to be working better, but that's probable due to the 8% increase, but yesterday just felt jank and like it would never work unless i was a slug or on a hook.

Take your anti-anxiety medication before playing this game and don’t jitter your camera = break stealth quickly.

I have taken my meds for the day thank you very much, and as i said in the post i have him center cam and the music that tells you your braking him out doesn't even start and i just end up exposed.

  • @Plu said:

You need to put him on the center of the screen, idk how doing it is hard? You can even do it while hiding behind a wall as long as you have view on him.

It works for me and the surv that face me when i play him sure manage to break me out easily as well so idk watcha on about.

i have him center screen, my camera steady on him as i stand there, peek around ######### and run away, very few times other then when i'm slugged or hooked does the music that plays to tell you your braking his stealth even start playing when i'm having a staring contest with him.

screen detection range INCREASED by 8% is a nerf. They dont NEED to do it right now on day one of release. People havent figured out 100% in 12 hours how to do it correctly (its easy if you dont play immersed af) Typical survivor pandering from BHVR.

Why not think, hmm lets see if the present stats work out over time rather than just jumping the nerf gun like they usually do against the killer community..

i don't care if he's nerfed i want his detection fixed, as i said in the post, i can be standing not even 16 meters away and out in the open and looking right at him and it won't brake him out. i don't play immersed, i do gen run if the killer gets close and if i get chased oh well let's go looping.

  • @Peanits thank you this worked a charm
