    New Killer Perk : " Tunneling "

    - You are be able to injured a Survivor who got unhooked

Whitout this Perk Killers arent be able to injure a Survivor who got unhooked until he hooks every other Survivor 1 time .... the unhooked Survivor can do Gens 4 free whitout being scared to be injured

For me it's not about whether people tunnel, I'm concerned about the fact that the surv has to do something about it and has to waste perk spaces and the killer is allowed to do it without a perk, he can hit any surv

  • @xEmoGirlxAlexisx said:

So u are really asking why a Killer is be able to injure are unhooked Survivor whitout a Perk ? 🤷🏻‍♀️

damn this Forum gets never old i hope i get u as a Survivor someday so i can Tunnel you out instant

No, I also wonder why there is an anti-tunnel perk, but the killer can tunnel at will and doesn't have to waste perk space like a survivor, for example

  • @Iron_Cutlass said:

By this logic, Killers have to bring slowdown to prevent "genrushing", so Survivors have to bring perks to prevent tunneling.

Not trying to defend tunneling but your logic is pretty flawed, if you want to make an argument against tunneling there are far better things to bring up other than that.

there are perks for genrush The killer slows things down, then has to hunt down the survivors. What was the point of tunneling 1 surv if in return all gens are turned on?^^

why wrong I just asked why a killer without a perk is allowed to do this and as a survivor you have to counter with a perk that's all^^

The killer has 4 advantages, the survivor basically only has 3 because he wants to be prepared not to be tunnelled, where is that, where is that fair?^^

why is the killer tunnel allowed without a perk

why does a surv have to play anti tunnel and the killer is allowed to do this without a perk, why do I have to take a perk with me and he doesn't^^

  • why is the killer tunnel allowed without a perk

  • gen rusch complains about it, gens go too fast blah blah but presenting tunneling as a tactic is wrong because a surv has to play extra anti tunnel to prevent this creates a balance and not mindless tunneling

For surv there is a perk against tunnels but why should I play anti tunnel when the killer can just tunnel like that

I also like the "what a boring killer to play as" approach some people use.

Please, i spend money on that killer. Just let me play and enjoy it. I´m not complaining about encountering 50 shades of Meg per day, either.

I also spend money on survs so keep the ball low

  • And what does it have to do with whether I need to get better or not? But tunneling is the wrong approach

How am I supposed to get better when the killer is in tunnels?

Well, as a killer, use your perks well and don't complain about the perk on Surv being too strong, but the killers can cry

and to the killers play it right or leave it

  • @PotatoPotahto said:

Protecting your teammates from tunnel and yourself from being tunnelled is also a skill, if you haven't developed one don't complain about killer not having it either.

OP is either just baiting, or had a bad match and came to the forums to vent.

Everytime someone drops a sweeping statement like “If the Killer was skilled, they wouldn’t need to tunnel!”, chances are when pressed how specifically the Killer could win without tunneling in various scenarios or maps, they have no proper comeback.

Bonus points if they talk about how they got tunneled asap but makes no mention of how long their chases lasted.

It's wrong how long the hunt lasted because during that time generators can come on and I can do my job as a survivor and get out

Tunneling a S.T.A.R.S. member as Nemesis is totally justified lore wise.

If you have the right perks with you, I will drop my medkit and it will be empty

What's the point of healing or even running if it depends on your skill level

I can stand in front of the killer right now and let myself be blown away

  • and we all know the hitbox in dead by daylight

No, as a nemesis you have zombies and perks

    Fair enough.

Now, what is your opinion on going back to a regressing gen thats at 90%?

    That doesn't answer my question

For killers, yes, their game play is a loops of "find survivor - chase - hit - chase - down - hook" and repeat

The fun part is depended on how many loops killers can make. The more the better. Tunneling a survivor will take down half the job required to "chase - down -hook"

And human always try to do stuffs less effort for the same result.

    less effort rather less skill^^

  • @Tsulan said:

Ok i´ll bite. How many gens need to be completed, before a killer is allowed to tunnel?

Well, if you have skill, you don't have to tunnel

  • It's supposed to be fun, always chasing the same thing?

  • @C3Tooth said:

Hitting on a survivor just off from hook takes skill

What is the purpose of that?

  • @pseudechis said:

Knowing when and how to use them as a tactic to maximum effect is the skill.

Losing 5 gens while you stand next to a hook... bad, but defending a hook at the right time snowballing into multiple downs... good.

Same goes for tunneling, sinking the whole game into a single bad chase losing a heap of gens... bad, but eliminating a player early to maximize early game advantage... good.

Knowing when to apply these to maximum effect is skill.

"dead by daylight is a pvp game and a killer shouldn't cry if he doesn't get a surv, he should accept it" Just as you shouldn't cry about being unable to participate in the objective as survivor, its a PVP game not everyone is gonna play how you want them too and that's ok you should accept it.

"play in peace" what does that even mean, you do understand the concept of the game right is to escape from the killer, the keyword being killer.

It sounds more like "play my way or I'll quit", the only answer to that is well then you should stop playing this isn't for you.

you can make gens slower the killer has perks to prevent the gen ruch from running

    The irony of this thread.

yes, as a surv you have to accept it if you tunnel or camp, which will not change anyway

you want killers banned just for tunneling, even if its necessary. in fact you think that if the killer might lose, they should just lie down and take it instead of tunneling to have a chance. quite simply get good.

tunneling or camping is not necessary to win a game get good

every killer has one skill, uses it correctly, that's enough, you don't have to tunnel
