Im adding a comment here in support of this.
It would be much easier to switch back to the survivor I want to play as before the lobby ticks time down and I can no longer change survivors. This would be such a huge QoL to be able to fave/sort survivors.

Did you do perchance either cloned your old drive or installed it directly on your new rig without a clean installation?
This kind of errors tend to occur due to missing or conflicting driver files, which in turn tends to happen when new drivers are installed on top of old ones.
Also make sure you have all redistributables required for DBD installed, as these don't necessarily install along standard updates.
