Whilst a battle pass will add an extra dynamic to the game many will just see this as yet another money grab. Personally, I don't really mind. I'm fine with games having this sort of system. However, there are far too many bugs for a game that is 3 years in, whenever one is fixed another one crops up and matchmaking is atrocious. If this is the route BHVR want to go down then the game needs to run near-perfectly to justify the money people will be putting into the game.
I live in hope that bugs will get fixed, gameplay will improve and matchmaking issues will be resolved but BHVR seem to prioritise pumping out paid for content instead of addressing the issues that are driving people away from the game.
I suppose it boils down to this for a lot of people. How stupid do you think we are if you think we'll keep giving you money when you fail to address the issues we keep raising? It's bordering on disrespectful. I, for instance, have pumped over $150 into the game. How much more am I going to pump in before the game runs properly?

I'd have preferred the developers concentrate on fixing the game bugs/issues before chasing $.
It's clear for all to see that this is just yet another attempt of squeezing more money out of us. Of course, they will say that more money will give them more resources to fix the game. Fine, if that's the type of game you want to play then we will expect the game to run near-perfectly in return. Anything less and you will drive even more people away.
