  • Instead, why not make survivor lose collision instead of endurance after unhook? This would reduce tunneling and prevent survivors from using it offensively.

Everything that was stated above was through a survivors perspective. I always play killer. i get no advantage of dqing and coming back, in fact it would make it harder or impossible for me to win.

Because when the game crashes there is a crash report with everything that happened right before the crash. When someone rage quits they press leave game. I don't think it's hard to implement. And if I reconnect and just happen to be by the hatch as it's open and get to close it I would just be lucky. It's better than giving players free wins and me a penalty for something I had no control over. I don't see how they would need to redesign the whole game. If you're a killer and game crashes, let the killer come back.

I mean, people can just force quit the game, turn the system off, or turn the Internet off...

  • I have only played solo the past two days. During that time I have managed to adept 17 survivors in 24 matches. So I didn't escape 17 times (1 on Meg, 1 on David, 1 on Ash, 1 on Adam, 1 on Quentin, 2 on Yui). That's a 70% escape rate. Sure some of those times my team was awful or sometimes I got tunneled, but in general solo queue is not as bad as people make it out to be. I did this in three sessions, two at night, one during the day.

  • Ruin doesn't count as damaging a generator though. It just regresses.

  • A work around- get the game free on epic and then form a custom game with yourself

I would think camping and tunneling at 5 gens is more pathetic than wanting to leave the damn game but each to their own

When I get tunneled out, I get annoyed, don't dc, then just move in to the next match when I die bc clearly the match won't take long if they are tunneling you from the start. I do what I can for my team, stay alive on hook as long as possible if being camped and try to get chased as long as I can to buy them time. Then when I inevitably die, I leave match and go into another lobby. DCing early makes the game significantly harder for the rest of the survivors.

  • His power needs a buff if anything.

  • The maps should have been disabled. While survivors probably can't know which totems are unsnuffable, it is still a problem even if it's happening by random chance. Yesterday I was playing killer and kept ending up on problematic maps and had unsnuffable totems.

  • Camping gens is not a bad thing. Survivors do complain about it, but especially if you're like me and don't have many perks available, it's the only info you are able to get. This sounds like how the perk was intended to be used.

  • A demon killer that can possess survivors to prevent skill checks and a toggle between seeing through the survivor's eyes and as themselves to make hits. Survivors could go bless themselves, which would give killer the ability to teleport to them upon completion. It could work similar to pinhead in there being a way to possess one survivor directly or a passive way like a book that needs to be found and read an incantation in a certain amount of time or all survivors become possessed. It would be good for gaining info and a good slowdown mechanic, but would not be overly strong in 1v1

  • Pinhead is one of the most fun killers to play and one of the most fun killers to go against, imo. I play both, but lately due to time of day I can play and queue times I end up playing survivor way more. It all depends on how you decide fun. I enjoy the added mechanic of the box as survivor. It makes it feel like I have more to do. I really enjoy having to change up my strategies for each killer and figure out how to outsmart the other player. I'm not very good at it, but even if I die I still have fun. The things that make pinhead unfun is when your teammates refuse to adjust their playstyle (but this is true for all killers). The only time I'm not having fun is when I'm one hooked, the killer isn't camping me, and the survivors don't even try to rescue me (and yes, I have kindred)

  • But why t-bag? I play 50/50 survivor/killer and other mmos and can't see any reason to t-bag (in any game) in any context - unless other person was an a-hole first. But the biggest victory over an a-hole is to deny kills so...leave and let someone take hatch.

  • Or just don't t-bag and leave?
