There are just ways to go about adding these characters.
There are wrong ways, like TLOU2 and Mass Effect Andromeda, and there are correct ways to do it.
Me, as a gay guy, don't like how it's being forced on the masses.
1st of all you haven’t played it yet, 2nd it can’t be as bad as mass effect andromeda, and 3rd I like the new characters and if they didn’t add them people would say “it’s stale.

Same, my bf also cancelled it because we hate being forcefully catered to at the expense of alienating other gamers.
We're both dudes and we both cancelled our pre-orders.
I think it’s stupid how people are already mad at the game before it’s even out

About your idea, I would suggest focusing on the Bloater. It's the strongest infected, and I actually think that its powers could translate well into DBD gameplay.
The killer's perks are a bit weak, especially Fury stunned. playing a bit with the numbers could work.
Survivor's perks are cool. The 75% of Endure and survive is way too much, consider lowering it to 5%-10% maximum. The other perks are good and creative.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm having a burst of nostalgia, and I'm going to blow a clicker's head (and actually fail miserably and die) .
I thought about using a blister but I figured a bloater would be to much like the clown and I thought a clicker would be more unique. Also was thinking of making it 25%. Also shoot a clicker for me

It would be possible for that to happen but I think it would be better for it to be a skin and not a whole character.
