Entitled survivor mains getting him nerfed is not surprising to me, this is going to happen to all the strong killers until there is no one strong to play. Blights not even the slightest bit busted when you go against swfs playing at their fullest potential with the most busted perks but survivors fkn suck and can’t loop or make proper decisions so they’d rather go online and complain so everything on the killer role gets nerfed. They should fix the mmr so Timmy 200 hours doesn’t have to go against a good blight.

They are not going to listen, I think majority of their team are survivor mains. Best thing to do is just stop playing the game, I stopped playing once they announced the nerf to blight. The only people that are not complaining about these nerfs are survivor mains that don’t know how to loop and the top 1% of blight players who will not in the slightest bit be affected by these nerfs. The funny thing too is that some killer mains think that this is a good thing as now behaviour can reduce the amount of pallets on every map, that’s the funniest thing I’ve ever read and they’re in for a big surprise.

So yeah, that would be paradoxical.
Because in the end, it would mean that expert / very good Blight players won’t really notice a difference, while those who don’t truly master the character will struggle more.
And yet, from the start, oddly enough, it feels like everyone’s been crying: ‘Help, a scary Blight just went on a nearly 2000-win winstreak.’
So we nerf a character because he’s ‘too strong’, but in reality, we only penalize average players. Top-tier Blight players will still pull off insane winstreaks, survivors will keep complaining, developers will keep trying to please the majority, and Blight will suffer (again).
When maybe, instead, we could’ve taken a look at perks rather than desperately trying to nerf a killer. Because let’s be honest, that famous 2k winstreak… it obviously wasn’t done with zero perks… and surprise, the build was made of highly aggressive perks (and for those who’d say that nerfing perks would also weaken lower-tier killers—we can ALSO buff those killers’ basekit, you know...).
It might’ve been smarter to think: ‘Hey, what if we limited stacking perks of the same type (gen slowdown, anti-heal, etc.)—for killers, but also for survivors?’
But hey, let’s not forget they changed the visual of the Dead Dawg offering for the most absurd reasons. ‘Oh no, it might disturb players.’ Oh really… remind me, DbD is still a horror game, right? What’s next—replacing blood with butterflies and screams with rubber duck squeaks?
to me when I go against blight players, he seems fine to go against but when they’re running a full gen slowdown build and tunnelling the first person out, it is can be very oppressive to go against him. I could be biased but I just didn’t think he needed a nerf, were balancing a killer around the top 1% of blight players which doesn’t make sense to me.

To be fair, strength and killrate aren't necessarily paired one-to-one like that.
Overall killrate data is going to be swayed by a lot of factors, like newer/inexperienced players, the accumulated weight of fluke games, people messing around, people playing drunk, people throwing on purpose, etcetera. That's not to say the data is useless, but that it isn't a linear "strength goes up with killrate and vice versa" number.
Blight isn't getting nerfed for having a high killrate, he's getting nerfed because he's incredibly strong. Not everyone is able to play him to his highest strength or to even unlock most of his strength, and not everyone is approaching every match with the intent to do that, but he's still incredibly strong.
I wouldn't be too worried or frustrated, though. What we've seen are minor nerfs that shouldn't hurt him too bad, just reduce his ability to cheese hits.
I understand your pov but I genuinely think that this nerf is not going to make much of a difference for the really good top tier blight players out there. This nerf is really going to affect casual/decent blights.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, any match with even a single DC is excluded from the stats they show us, and a lot of people probably DC against the army of tunneling, slugging, 4-slowdown Blights in upper MMR. The stats aren't really accurate to anything.
Ghoul is also there and I believe he gets people dcing against him all the time
