• instadeath on first hook, is this a bug or hacking?

  Hi all, Another survivor and I just died on the first hook state. I was the first to be hooked and the entity immediately spawned and took me. It was as if we had both previously been hooked twice before, but both of us had no previous hooks. The other survivors were still running around doing objectives. What is happening? I just had this happen while playing solo survivor against Skull Merch

  Hi all, Let me preface by saying that nothing I am about to say is new. I little bit of background: I have been playing DBD regularly since the Silent Hill release and have had not much reason to complain until the last year or so. I play about 40% solo survivor, 45% swf (2, 3 person) survivor, and maybe 15% killer. I am a better-than-average looper and regularly take killers for 2-3 gen runs.

  Since the patch dropped i have been running a good number of perks that make me difficult to find: Distortion, off the record, kindred (to get a heads up on the killer incase they come in my direction after hook), lightweight, iron will (even after the patch), lucky break, etc etc. I propose that survivors that are "hard to find" can now, on average, waste more killer time than looping.   I'm surprised at how little I have seen discussion of the new Distortion changes coming soon. After trying it out on the PTB and considering how quickly it builds up tokens while in the killer's terror radius, I think this perk is going to heavily counter most aura reading. As an example, I recall being in a match with a Nurse running BBQ, Floods of Rage, Darkness Revealed, and I'm All Ears. All

• kicking gens no longer causes regression

  I have begun to notice that kicking gens no longer starts the spark animation and do not regress for me. I was recently playing the shape and after kicking a gen I stood and watched it for a good 4 minutes. The gen showed no signs of regression and by my numbers should have been nearly completely reset to 0%.
