  • Give a toggle in settings. Have profanity filter on by default, but allow people to turn it off, so that they can see what people type in chat. The profanity filter randomly filters out normal words, killer and map names, without rhyme or reason, on and off. I've seen it filter 'Haddonmemes', 'Myers', 'Ormond', and 'Hawkins' before. Why? I don't know if what someone is saying to me is profanity i

  • Loaded into a match as Nemesis on an H-shaped Autohaven map (someone ran a green offering for Autohaven maps, I don't recall which Autohaven map in particular it was on). Tried to use his power by holding right mouse button, but every time I tried to do so, Nemesis threw a punch instead. After the second occurrence of this, I made sure to only be touching the right mouse button and nothing else

  • Please revert to the old maps. These new ones are aesthetically displeasing to look at, and far too bright for a Dead By Daylight map. Have ended up on nothing but Coldwind Farm every match tonight, the map keeps alternating between Torment Creek and the Thompson House. It's coming to a point where I will probably DC on any Coldwind Farm map in the future, because it hurts my eyes to look at the

  • Title^ I've gotten this achievement (a 4k as Executioner with his base perks) over a dozen times, and it has not counted, once.

  • Now that players can Alt+F4 during loading screens, and it does not screw anyone else over to do so (i.e. by starting the match with only 3/4 survivors), it is becoming normalised to dodge lobbies based on offerings (because it is seen as no harm, no foul). I haven't seen a mori match load in, in a while. Black or White Hand offerings fully loading in are also rarities, from what I've seen.

  • I posted this in another thread, 'What WOULD make you be ok with the ruin rework?' ( https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/119335/what-would-make-you-be-ok-with-the-ruin-rework/p1 ), but wanted to gather more ideas and suggestions on the topic, as well as keep the discussion on Hex: Ruin going (since the other thread died), and here we are at this thread. "This will come off as long-w

  • As r20 survivor, it's ridiculously difficult to escape when your teammates are noobs and the killer even has a slight hint of an idea of what they're doing. There's always the hatch, but only one person can escape through it, generally. Whoever gets found first is generally dead since low rank killers almost exclusively like to close proxy camp everyone they catch, and low rank survivors don't

  • The question is: do the increasing tiers of Bloodlust increase the killer's rate of acceleration proportionally to the increased maximum movement speed, or does Bloodlust just increase the maximum movement speed that a killer has? Background: So, Bloodlust supposedly increases the killer's movement speed incrementally based on its tiers, and was originally intended as a soft counter to loop

  • What is the speed loss by a killer (or speed gain by survivors) when going around a loop, in meters/second? It is understood and acknowledged that, due to movement and collision mechanics, survivors are able to take shorter paths around loops, effectively increasing their distance/second (speed) traveled over the killer, or decreasing the killer's distance/second (speed) traveled in relation to

  • On the bright side, this event is very easy to grind, as all it takes is a tiny bit of stealthily grabbing event objectives for survivors to max out their event grind, or just playing normally for most killers. Let's look at the grind, shall we? Assuming that each match lasts 10 minutes and the player in question maxes out their syringe in each match (which shouldn't be terribly hard to do),

  • Self-Care; In case you're new to DbD and don't know what this perk is: Self-Care is a perk that allows survivors to heal themselves infinitely with no item, at 50% of the normal healing speed. This means that, as opposed to the 10 second heal from fellow survivors or self-healing with medkits, Self-Care takes a survivor 20 seconds to heal themselves. It is a teachable Claudette Morel perk.

  • Remember on-release Huntress, with exploding hatchets? Wouldn't it be great to have that as a purchasable item in the store? Even if it were only purchasable with Auric Cells, I'd definitely buy that, specifically. Even if it were only a killer-side explosion that the survivors wouldn't hear. I really miss those 'splodey hatchets, and would love to have them back, and think it would b
