  • If you suck at killer, you need only resort to tunneling, camping and slugging to maintain a very high kill rate. If you suck at survivor…you're dead almost every match and so are all your teammates, unless you get very lucky. If you're good at killer…enjoy going on lengthy win streaks unless you purposefully throw. If you're good at survivor, enjoy being forced to play for hatch against medio

  • the game is heavily killer sided according to science and objectivity. why then the killers crying so much about it being survivor sided? let me tell you... their MMR is inflated first thing which happens is a new killer curb stomps their opponent when playing at their true MMR because the game balance holds killers hands. then their MMR skyrockets and who do they go against? primarily cheat

  • It's basically a small discord clique's opinion of what Dead by Daylight should be. I watched the finals and read over their rules/balance list and it's a completely different game that is greatly watered down in complexity. They have so many silly rules and a massive list of banned add-ons and perks and perk combinations, such that it plays completely different. You can't really generalize the

  • This is for all the players—*cough cough* killer mains, who ignorantly believe that the 60:40 kill to escape ratio is "balanced" gameplay and that it should stay this way because killer is "supposed to win". This delusion is a confusion about what the word "balance" means, which is essentially the equal and right distribution of something. Imagine you have a scale which weighs gold coins. You pu

  • I used a combination calculator to see how many unique builds you can create with 4 perk slots. If you have only 3 perks , the most unique builds is 1 , obviously. If you have 10 perks , you can create 210 unique builds. But if you have 50 perks , you can create 230300 unique builds. 100 perks is 3921225 unique builds. I now have unlocked 135 survivor perks which giv

  • Only took 3 matches for issues to appear. The audio direction is bugged. The hitching problem is exactly the same if not worse. I can run a heavily modded Skyrim SE with next-gen graphics more smoothly than Dead by Daylight, which has enormous stutters where the game pauses for an entire second. This was not even an issue a few months ago and the graphics look more or less the same, so somethin

  • A few updates/months ago this game ran butter smooth on Ultra settings on a GTX 1070, with rarely any severe stutters. I don't know what is causing this but a few months ago the game started having massive FPS drops at random moments throughout a match, which happens almost every match. Now I know my card isn't the latest and greatest but I don't believe the issue is limited to cards like mine,

  • I keep seeing the same argument from killer mains on here… "survivors are losing because the average survivor sucks". Now I explain why this is blatantly false. People who choose to play killer aren't magically better at the game than your average survivor. There are just as many mediocre killers as there are mediocre survivors, after controlling for the 1:4 ratio, obviously. Most players are a

  • Killers already have Bloodlust to hold their hands when they suck at chasing and did nothing to earn it, so just give solo players a Haste bonus to compensate for their lack of SWF comms. BHVR stubbornly chooses to balance around the minority of high MMR 4 man SWF teams, so the solution is very simple. Solo Q players are invigorated by their courage to face the Entity without comms. For every so

  • In The Long Dark you have Pilgrim, Voyager, Stalker, Interloper, and Misery Mode, which is Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard, respectively. Now having played Dead by Daylight on both sides for thousands of hours, I will tell you how each game mode compares, assuming the skill level of the survivors and killers are all equal. Strongest Killers (Nurse/Blight) = Pilgrim Weakest Killers = V

  • BHVR blames solo Q survivors for failing to coordinate, yet not only do we not have comms like SWF, which incentivizes players turning against one another in order to survive, but there is also no way to explore the maps without the pressure of a live match. Currently I can load up any map as a killer with survivor bots and just roam around to learn the maps. Granted, the gens are still being do

  • I see the same perks run over and over on both sides. You got mediocre killer mains always running Pop, Pain Res, Grim Embrace and Corrupt Intervention, for example. Zzzzzz…boring…and predictable as hell. Only good against casuals. Any high level survivor sees this kind of build so much that they will easily counter it because they see it coming a mile away. But also on survivor side you see the
