It really is a different world. People always say "play both so you can see both sides", there is some merit to that. I feel like I can understand some of the survivor rage a bit better. I can see firsthand how annoying camping is, how frustrating bad/selfish teammates are, and why certain killers suck to face. It's interesting how my attitude changes. So, I'm at a bit of a crossroads. I've been playing for a few months on a very casual basis, killer main. I identify myself as being a green ranks killer, skill-wise, but I'm midway through the purple ranks now. Level 26 on Freddy, no BBQ. Tons of Monstrous Shrine, Unrelenting, and Distressing though! I got Monstrous Shrine three levels in a row, even. Not gonna lie, this is quite frustrating. Partly because I enjoy the aura reading but also because I need the blood points. So I have to ask: is there something I'm doing wrong? It was a good Blood Hunt, I'm all hunted out. I've gotten all my baby killers to a semi-playable state, I'm back in the purple/green ranks after not having played much at all since reset, and I have a new favorite killer. After spamming dozens of Doctor games just for the blood points, I started messing around. Played a game with Myers... kind of typical. Just saying. I usually don't play every day, and when I do play, it's seldom for more than two or three games at a time. Mostly because I'm capable of doing basic math and realize just how many games I'd have to play in order to unlock anything of value, so I stick to playing the game "for the experience". Just finished watching a survivor stream vs Huntress that ended in a 3k. It was pretty brutal, the survivors couldn't touch a totem or a generator without a hatchet whistling by. The killer successfully put out an oppressive amount of map pressure the entire match without relying on tunneling or camping. It was fun to watch and it looked fun to play, if scary. Honest question, there seems to be a concerted push of enthusiasm from people to have him as the next killer and I just don't get it. This is a game about slashers and people running away from them, not some entity of allegedly cosmic evil that hides in the sewers and gets foiled by its own poor self-esteem. People seem to regard this as a very bad pairing and I think I see why. Some consoles struggle with frame rates, apparently, and controllers might not be adequate for the split-second timing she requires. Does anyone play her on console anyway?
