I'm someone who is aggressively average at the game so I don't really sway to either side of the dbd pendulum here. From my years of casual play and discourse with others about the game i find more people will play killer rather than survivor. I'm very slowly building my first pc but I have spent money and time doing archives on ps4. Cross progression would be nice so I don't have to start with no perks or skins when I rebuy and download it later on. What do I mean by this? I played Friday the 13th on ps4. Even though it has a dedicated party system I felt more incentivized to use the in game proximity chat with the walkie talkies. It gave a bigger sense of urgency to find them and made being immersed a gameplay benefit rather than an hinderance. So I've been playing both sides and I've noticed a weird disconnect in how the game chooses who I match with. When I play survivor at rank 5 (always solo) I get teammates and killers that both act and feel like they are around my skill level. (with the exceptions of a very few bad eggs).
