Recently there has been a lot of talk surrounding the use of mods, more particularly the use of sweaty players installing mods that give them an unfair edge. (We've all seen the pink beartrap post by now.) DBD modding has a lot to offer, and i personally have added my own chase music to some of the killers since i enjoy them more than what the base game offers. But with all the talk and BHVR's al36 comments 4,891 views last activity

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBZYdo-3xzg Otzdarva recently uploaded an interesting video revealing what he was counting secretly on his streams, which happened to be meme addons. Watching the video it dawned on me how right he really was in his assessment of the game, players are very competitive in a highly casual environment. This game, by its nature is quite casual,16 comments 191 views last activity

Out of all the reworks and balance changes this games had, what was your favorite zero to hero storyLets make a positive discussion for a change. This game has had a lot of reworks, perk changes, Buffs, etc etc. But some perks, killers, and items have recieved buffs on a much bigger scale. Wraiths, Blights, Tricksters, which story is your favorite? Personally i loved what blight became over the course of his lifetime, from a widely scorned and low tier killer on his PTB release to being one of15 comments 131 views last activity

To explain more thoroughly, what things do killers do that make you realize how screwed you might be? Personally what makes my tense instinct kick in is seeing a really early snipe from a huntress, or a nurse who downs somebody with their first 2 blinks. Devour hope/NOED activating are also pretty "oh crap" moments.26 comments 311 views last activity

This has been on my mind a lot for a while, as i've noticed that overtime i am really only ever matched with people around my hours (1000-2000 hour survivors whenever i play killer, as i have around 2500.) and i find it very hard to believe that our matches aren't at least slightly influenced by our skill rating and amount of in game hours. Am i just a conspiracy nut or is this a possible thing5 comments 81 views last activity

I've noticed that a lot of killers have a generally negative tactic associated with them that is majorly exasperated by the more dedicated mains of said killer. Spirits sweat super hard, blights prioritize gens above all else, bubba's love to facecamp, etc etc. I've noticed though with huntress, the "negative strat" they seem to nearly always do is stay within hatchet range of a hook. Title. I love this game, i really do. I've clocked in over 2,500 hours and will likely continue to do so until BHVR pulls the plug, but god damn it is really hard to like this game because of the cretins who infest it. I have never seen a more wretched congregation of the most childish, toxic, unbearably sweaty, and downright maliciously cruel playerbase in any game ever. Including league. it i26 comments 382 views last activity

To preface: I Absolutely adore nemesis as he is in this game, his audio design, his amazing chase/menu theme, his imposing model and amazingly fun power (when it works.) He has a lot going for him both gameplay wise and thematically, but i cannot help but often feel like a large amount of his character identity was robbed by the limitations of DBD, leaving him sorely underwhelming in the shadow o53 comments 963 views last activity

Title. I like hearing opinions on this subject since it helps broaden my view of the game. Generally, what are your ideas to shorten the balance gap? Things like giving solo q more info, depriving SWF of certain elements, etc etc.35 comments 251 views last activity

Title. I Feel like i've noticed this being talked a lot about by other members of the community, and have started to notice it myself. A large sum of wraiths i've encountered have been showing some really cruel and malicious behavior, and i don't mean stuff like "boo hoo i got tunneled off my first hook :(((" im talking stuff like facecamping because you blinded them a single time, hard tunneling10 comments 151 views last activity

After playing this game for a while this question has sort of dawned on me. I've personally noticed that the sweatiest killers tend to be Plagues, Spirits, and Freddys. The most memey/kindest killers i've noticed were Blights, Ghostfaces, and Demo's. What do you think?93 comments 2,302 views last activity
