• Why is the hatch a thing?

  Im a killer main and i never really understood the whole idea around the hatch. As soon as a player smells defeat he will just say F his team and hide and wait for his whole team to die, but even worst if they think the killer found the hatch first they will keep hiding. I never really cared about the mechanic until i just got out of a game that lasted like a extra 30 mins after everyone died bec
