  • Recently, a lot of changes got pushed through with the intent of removing unfun occurences. The most obvious one is the baseline BT. The annoyance of getting farmed by soloQ teamamtes not running the perk and still choosing to unhook you in the face of the killer died down in an instant. I think everybody agrees that this was a necessary and healthy change. Unsurprisingly, it has lead to oth

  • 1. SoloQ improvements. 2. The Nurse. 3. Wesker hitboxes. 4. RPD changes. 5. Swamp rework. 6. Buffs to weak(er) killers. 7. Perk rebalancing. 8. General map rebalancing. 9. Addon changes. 10. Medkits. 1. SoloQ feels frustrating especially due to the raw amount of dcs and similar stuff. The missing link between SWFs and SoloQ pidgeonholes the overall balance. 2. Nurse is incredi

  • Dont get me wrong, the new textures and props are sick as hell, but daytime completely takes you out of the doom and gloom thats conveyed by macmillian for example. The new Haddonfield is extremely visually pleasing, and id love other maps to get that treatment as well. Also, #saveskybilly.

  • Ive seen a lot of negative comments about the locks, ppl have written that theyre "brainless" and you can and should just lock every locker you come across. So heres a reminder of how the interaction works: - there is only ONE lock per locker. If its gone, its gone. - if a dredge come across a lock and is not in chase, he can just m1 the lock away and doesnt need to break it from the inside. T

  • We talk about this every update, bc it feels as though something pretty major breaks every time, and yet we still never see it. The place where this term comes from, operation health, is siege, where it worked wonders iirc. There are a lot of unintended mechanics that just feel terrible and have somehow become routine. Bumping into a pallet as billy without breaking it doesnt even faze me anymo

  • The Legion in their previous state felt really sad to play as, the 4s stun being the worst offender, with their lack of lethality being a close second. They felt robotic and same-y for both parties. This is a significant improvement FOR BOTH SIDES. Killerside The stun change makes you feel like a lot more of a menace, and cranks up the enjoyableness of the killer massively. The 5 stab reward al

  • The problem with buffing killers is that low-level soloQ survivors are already getting dominated by a below average Killer nearly every match, so a buff would turn a near stomp into a full stomp every match. Compare that to high-level SWFs who can toy with 92% of the killer cast, while the killer needs to be hyperfocused and very experienced in order to win without luck involved, where 2-3 mild

  • I want to clarify that i enjoy a lot of the killer patches theyve done, apart from billy, freddy and other minor changes. I also want to mention that theres still a lot of good they can do on that aspect, like address nurses and blights, rework the addons of PH and Twins and other good stuff. I dont find this unnecessary at all. What i find awful is how stale survivorside has gotten. In my last

  • Whenever I see people throw around the agenda that killer/survivor mains complain too much, I feel like im listening to a smoker talking about how many downsides smoking has. Only with much more emotion attached, and, most notably, the possibility of improvement. I love that. I see recommendations and ideas daily, where i think people have hit the nail on its head, I was able to read legitimat

  • beating a dead horse i know, but some friends of mine genuinely cant play killer unless they wanna use 3 perks. It also wouldn't drastically improve Killers, it would just make it a lot more comfortable.

  • There has been a massive playerbase dropoff in recent months since sbmm was introduced. And instead of asking: "Why are people leaving?" I want to discuss another, far more interesting question: "What incentivises people to stay?" Instead of looking at circumstantial stuff, lets look at other games with a similar profit model, like CSGO, LoL and R6. What keeps players going is the will to r

  • In patch 4.1.0 Billy got a rework. Instasaw was gutted, which was great, but in addition to that the overheat mechanic was implemented, designed to stop Hillbilly from spamming his chainsaw Most folks hated it. I strongly believe that overheat is a mechanic that is completely unnecessary and should be removed as soon as possible. SPAMMING YOUR CHAINSAW When a player is able to usw their chai

  • You can't really go for any flicks on most loops, and, due to the inherent nature of the map, you cant use his movement too well except for one or two corridors. All of that makes billy a chore on RPD. One short term solution might be to just turn down the collision on a lot of props in order to give him some opportunity to use his chainsaw for mobility, and it wouldnt change some unique flicks
