Are high ping hits common again or is it just me? I kinda thought the problem with high ping hits had decreased over the last 1-2 years after it has always been a part of DbD since 2016 - unfortunately. But at least since the Bone & Chill event started, I eat high ping hits from killers now in nearly every match again. Are the servers just laggy or does the killer's client decide more and mo2 comments 152 views last activity

I was unsavable without a trade in this situation because there was only one way to my hook and of course anticamp didn't trigger. And this situation occurs pretty often in the room under the big whole next to the freezer room on Gideon Meat Plant / The Game. Only the basement should be a dead zone imo. 1.) Why don't Off the Record and DStrike deactivate when the survivor who uses them gets fully healed? OTR and DStrike should prevent tunneling but even when you don't tunnel you could get punished because people use them for tanking hits. Especially since perks like Resurgence (70 % healing progress after being unhooked or unhooking yourself) kinda got meta since the last patch and promote heal22 comments 581 views last activity

The RNG of Scourge hook spawns is often a pain in the butt because sometimes you have 3 to 4 Scourge hooks that spawn in one area and then you down people in another area and aren't able to hook them on a Scourge hook. My solution to make Scourge hooks less dependent on RNG would be: How about dividing each map into 4 parts and from all hooks in one of these quarters one hook will always be a S6 comments 81 views last activity

Hi, I would like to ask if there are any plans in the near future to rework offerings because most of them are totally outdated, kinda useless and clog the inventories and the Bloodweb. These are the following offerings in my opinion: 1.) Bloodpoints a) All Categories10 comments 101 views last activity

Platform: every platform I guess Description of the issue: I played multiple killer games the last 2 days and I was not able to finish the killer challenge "The Hunt" (level 4) from the actual Tome where you have to gain 2 iri Chaser emblems although I 4k'ed a lot and had games that lasted 10-15 minutes. And I'm pretty sure I hit and hooked people multiple times for the iri emblem.0 comments 11 views last activity

Just a little buff: Instead of 3 protection hits you only need 2 protection hits to activate Mettle of Man. This simple tweak would make Mettle of Man worth again to play and it wouldn't be too strong. You would usually get usage of it only once per match anyway. Remember you have to give the killer a free hit on you and time and maybe medkit stacks to heal you up again in exchange for one little3 comments 31 views last activity

With regard to the rank reset on the 13th: Why didn't you give us the possibility to pip in 2v8 ? I was able to finish quests that required emblems in 2v8 although it doesn't show your emblems. So even the emblem system works in 2v8, so why not pips as well?5 comments 261 views last activity

Please give us back the "Previous" and the "Next" buttons … Why the hell did you even remove them? Now you have to click on the character selection first and then you have to scroll down to the killer / survivor you want to chose … this is extremely inconvenient … And please give us back a button that lets us switch between the killer selection and the survivor selection…pointlessly you had re4 comments 81 views last activity

Huntress' addon Wooden Fox: "Grants Undetectable for 30 seconds after reloading." Wooden Fox needs a cooldown in my opinion, because Huntress reloads so often that she's kinda Undetectable permanently what makes it OP. Try to loop a killer who's Undetectable all the time and can snipe you from out of nowhere. Her lullaby is a too weak indicator because it's surrounding you and doesn't tell you7 comments 181 views last activity

Before someone calls me a "survivor main crybaby" or something similar: I have 7k hours (since 2016) and play survivor / killer in a ratio of 75% / 25 % In my opinion the Twisted Masquerade modifier is pretty killer sided because… … killers are able to gain the following buffs: Bag of Tryks: 8 seconds aura reading 30 % haste for 60 seconds (115 % + 30 % = 145 % ⇒ a cloaked Wraith has a mo19 comments 601 views last activity

Wesker's add-on "Egg (Gold"): Increases the duration of the Chain Bound Window by +50 % . Out of 20 Wesker players you face, 19 will use this add-on because it's OP and meta on him. From survivor's perspective it is nearly impossible to dodge his Virulent Bound unless you have a pallet or a window close because he can hardly miss you with the big time window the add-on grants him.0 comments 131 views last activity

Hey BHVR, the monthly rank reset is on this Thursday, the 13th, and the birthday event starts on the same day. I assume that we will get birthday cakes and items / addons in the bloodweb again. Therefore my request: Please reset the ranks before the birthday event starts, so we can skill the bloodpoints we earn from it into characters we want just to level up (for example the new ones Vecna an4 comments 91 views last activity

I recently notice a lot that the volume of Wesker's terror radius seems too quiet sometimes as if he has an integrated Monitor & Abuse. When you're not in a chase with him and he is like 10 metres away from you, you would think he's like 25-30 metres away from you but when he spots you the chase music immediately increase its volume from like 0 % to 100%. Some Tome challenges are bad worded. For example the current Tome 18 killer challenge "You can't hide". It says "Hit 10 Survivor(s) within 30 second(s) of them being revealed by an aura reading ability." The word "hit" in this context refers to only basic attacks. How tf should anyone know that? I tried the challenge with Nurse but Nurse's attacks are usually special attacks. I had to play tw0 comments 171 views last activity

Hey BHVR, can you please fix your servers? ... Last round I had my 5th or 6th game crash - because of "Dedicated server not responding" - since the Blood Moon Event started on this Monday... Why the hell does everything take so long for you guys? For example: The "Bloodshot Eye" is still killswitched. For 6-7 days right now ... the event ends in one week ... The stacks (up to 3) you gain as a survivor when you are scanned by a drone (Skull Merchant's special effect: Lock On) should decay after a while when you're not being scanned - just like Trickster's Laceration Meter decays.7 comments 131 views last activity

You literally have to throw your games if you want to find them all in a few games. Otherwise you have to play like 30-40 games to get the 10 green glyphs from the actual Tome 17 Level 4. 2-3 green glyphs per challenge would be okay, but 10? Come on.1 comments 101 views last activity

If you unhook another survivor and the survivor uses Plot Twist right away / before the 15 seconds ended, the system will count it as a down and you, the unhooker, get minus points from it.0 comments 31 views last activity

Apart from Weskers many problems (spaghetti code, pallet / window grabs etc.) I think he should be punished a little bit more for missing his Virulent Bound. I think his cooldown right now is about 3 seconds after a missed Virulent Bound, isn't it? And it's the same cooldown he gets when he successfully hits a survivor with it (throwing is 5 seconds CD). How is that fair? Should be like 5 seconds2 comments 51 views last activity

You can easily get an EMP (7 in total) nearly every time you want and then disable all Airpods (for 60 seconds!) and destroy all Slipstreams in a huge area. Expect 4 slipstreamed survivors being together, only one uses an EMP and all 4 Slipstreams are immediately removed. I would say that's the biggest counterplay to a killer's ability a killer ever faced. All the Singularity can do now is use t3 comments 151 views last activity

The hills on the two reworked Red Forest maps are so bad designed because of their randomness imo. That mostly makes them a death trap for survivors and especially Balanced Landing users. You can't see where you can go up and down or rather jump down because every side kinda looks the same from below and from above. And I think Blights, Weskers and Bubbas get stucked on them as well sometimes. C3 comments 31 views last activity

With so many killers having their own chase music now it's sometimes hardly possible to hear the hatch, especially on indoor maps because the walls muffle sounds. Would it be possible to increase the volume of the hatch sog? Even with headphones on I have problems to locate the hatch and I have no hearing problems.1 comments 151 views last activity

In my opinion the addon "Shotgun speakers" is broken / overpowered: "Survivors in a Drone's Active Zone have no skill check warning. This effect lingers for 15 seconds after leaving the area." It's like trying to hit an overcharge + madness (Doctor) skill check with no skill check warning (5 stacks of Hex: Huntress Lullaby). The Knight is the worst killer BHVR designed in 6 years of Dead by Daylight. His ability is absolut useless. Survivors just have to hold W Shift and you're a Trapper without traps. In 2022. In a game with killers like Onryo, Trapper, Twins etc. the devs were able to top them in weakness by releasing this dogshit of a killer. Apart from that his guards are buggy as hell and get stuck in everything11 comments 201 views last activity

Is it possible to remove the white glow effect from scourge hooks on which you killed a survivor or which a survivor sabotated? In the heat of the battle you sometimes don't remember that you killed a survivor on the scourge hook in front of you that is still white glowing and you don't see from behind that the hook is already broken.1 comments 31 views last activity

The challenge "Scientific Breakthrough" with Blight from the actual Tome 12, Level 2 ("Break 8 walls or pallets with a Lethal Rush as The Blight") seems to not work when you use the iri addon Compound 33 against pallets or walls. With the Dead Hard rework the hit validation got even worse. After multiple patches the old Dead Hard finally worked fine but the reworked one now looks and works like a beta version of it. Against killers with a ping of 100 ms or more it's hardly possible to use it. You have to guess if the killer would swing / throw / shoot etc. 1-2 second before but if you press E after the killer started the0 comments 11 views last activity

Apart from the million pallets on Garden of Joy and the size of the map, most of the windows in the house and especially the window at the little greenhouse are infinites and broken af. There is hardly a chance to outplay them when you're not a Nurse. Aren't you guys testing these maps before you release them? The unbalancing of many maps and the RNG of map spawns are the biggest problem in DbD4 comments 221 views last activity

A few minutes ago I had my first game on the RCPD map since the 5.0.2 bugfix patch. I played as Nurse, everything worked fine, no lags on permanent 60 FPS and then suddenly after 10-15 playtime without any problems my game freezed and crashed. That had happened before twice when the map first had been released. I never had any similar problems on other maps before. My data: Windows 10, AMD Ryze0 comments 1 views last activity

I played against a Clown a few minutes ago and the most time when he threw a Tonic (purple gas) it shimmered yellow instead of purple but it worked like a Tonic and not like an Antidote (yellow gas). That was my third round against a Clown today but I didn't see that bug in the first two games. I ran through a few yellow shimmerin gases and they intoxicated me instead of invigorating me. Dear devs, in my opinion the Steam achievements "Evil incarnate" (The Shape) and "Skilled Huntress" (The Huntress) are too hard to get / are nearly impossible to get. It would be nice if you could remove or at least simplify them. I've played DbD for about 1.800 hours and I still haven't downed any survivors with a hatchet further than 24 metres away. And for getting the achievement "Evil inca12 comments 402 views last activity
