• Why do "iridescent crystal shard" and "Hologram generator" addons exist?

  Hi, p55 singularity main here. Anybody has a clue what purpose is "Iridescent Crystal shard" and "Hologram generator" are supposed to have? As far as I can see, they are worthless.   When singularity enters his cameras within 10 meters of the hooked survivor, he gets 5 second penalty upon exiting. This penalty is doing anything but preventing Singularity from camping/tunnelling. It can be easily bypassed if you have malicious intent to use built-in insidious for camping.
