When it comes to Dead By Daylight I have seen many perks become useless over the years so I’ve thinking of how to update some of the more useless ones. My first tweak to an old perk comes from none other than Freddy himself with his unique perk Blood Warden. Right now it is a perk that only really works at the endgame and may not even be able to activate if you don’t hook someone at end game3 comments 71 views last activity

Is it only me or am I finding that the one of the staircases in Eyrie of Crows is bugged and that it cannot be traveled unless you go all the way to the end. Only seems to affect Killer but I don't know if it affects Survivors the same way. Has anyone else experienced this bug?4 comments 121 views last activity

DBD is your game and you shall have no other game but DBD. Thou shalt not sandbag at the vault/pallet. Thou shalt learn to body block and draw aggro for those less fortunate, Thou shalt not run the Killer to the generator unless that generator has already been done. Thou shalt learn to equip Kindred/Bond/Situational Awareness or other such perks that let them know where you are or what obje17 comments 502 views last activity

Simply had an idea that would make Hex perks and Hex builds a lot more viable. My new idea is to upgrade Hexes in one simple way. That whoever cleanses or blesses the Hex perk is afflicted with the backlash of what that perk did for the remainder of the trial. For example, if someone was to break Huntress Lullaby then that person will no longer be able to hear skill checks. A more practical44 comments 821 views last activity

For the upcoming 6th Anniversary I would hope that there would be a new game mode that would bring some uniqueness to DBD. One thing that I have seen some content creators and streamers do is discuss a first person mode and I thought that it would be very interesting to bring to DBD as an additional game mode to bring some spice back into DBD? If not that then what about a mode that forces pl2 comments 51 views last activity

I find this to be an interesting perk as it encourages a different form of gameplay other than just blindly downing and hooking everyone. Unfortunately, I believe that in its current state that the perk is too weak to be truly effective and gives the Obsession a powerful bonus to altruistic actions (healing and unhooking) at the very start of the game. If I were to rework this it would be17 comments 491 views last activity

With generator speeds being one of the most discussed topics recently and the Lunar New Year event that is currently going on I have seen a rise in the perk Prove Thyself. Do we honestly still need a perk like this in the current game? Honestly, with the way gen speeds are currently I don't think so but would love to see arguments for and against it.36 comments 801 views last activity

I just wanted to throw the question out there to start a discussion regarding old Ruin: Undying. With the controversy surrounding COH (Circle of Healing) at the moment regarding its level of power I just want to see if a return of the old Ruin: Undying would be a way to effectively balance the power of both boons and hexes. Just interested in feedback regarding if it would be a good idea at thi68 comments 972 views last activity

Going on the forums lately I see some ideas for buffing the poster boy of DBD, The Trapper. It irks me that the poster boy for the game is by far the weakest killer in the game, in my opinion. After all, his power is not time efficient to set up or collect, can by useless throughout an entire match therefore making him just a basic 115% speed M1 killer and even when it works if you are too far2 comments 261 views last activity

It is gearing towards the end of the year and I was just thinking about how far DBD has come in some cases and may have stepped back in others. In my opinion, I believe that it is about time to start rebuilding DBD from the ground up to make it a bit more varied. I know that there are many things that can be addressed such as maps, pallets, killer and survivor perk synergies among other things0 comments 81 views last activity

Time to bring some true fright in time for the Christmas season. I bring Killer Concept #2 that inspires you to no longer trust your allies but forces you to work with them all the same. I bring to you The Wendigo. Killer Power: Mark of the Damned This killer has the power to mark his victims of its rampage. The Mark is given to those that are either down or put into the dying state by2 comments 51 views last activity

Considering that we are now 5 years and change into DBD's lifespan I find that it is time to truly shake things up. This is just a bit of a project for me but I based my ideas off of one premise. The game is currently five years old and still hasn't produced a killer on the level of the Nurse or surpassed her since. Even the newest killer to the motley crew, The Artist, seems fun but is not on1 comments 91 views last activity

While the killers that have come out in recent times have been somewhat fine (love the Artist that's coming out by the way) I find that they are in some ways lacking in originality to make their own mark on the game. One aspect that I would like to go over is the lack of a new stealth killer or some way to update stealth mechanics or play a true stealth style in DBD either as killer or survivor.4 comments 71 views last activity

Devs is there something that you need to address regarding gen speeds perhaps? After all, the new killer (which I find fascinating) comes with technically 2 slowdowns. But yet time and again its said that gen speeds are not an issue. So again, developers of BHVR, is gen speeds that may be addressed in future :).7 comments 181 views last activity

I have been recently thinking about new ideas for killer to bring some freshness and fear back into DBD so I have been kicking around some ideas for new killers for the next year. One of my more complete ideas presents itself in the way of the Shadowstalker. Killer Power: Shadow Stride-The ability itself is both very simple and very deadly. He can travel along the ground as a shadow and then s2 comments 51 views last activity

After looking over the descriptions for what is to come in the mid-chapter update I find that the overall changes are very interesting, but could have been much better in regards to what was emphasized overall. And while it touched base on certain killers (Spirit) or killer mechanics (Deathslinger's ADS) in my opinion I feel that if you are going to nerf one aspect of any killer power or perk in0 comments 41 views last activity

I've been both playing and viewing others play Dead by Daylight for years and yet every time something tends to happen that either strengthens the "killer" or "survivor" sides it tends to have one side voice concerns about being treated unfairly. I myself don't have a sword in this fight for either side but I can understand at certain points where it feels as those changes are being made recentl9 comments 111 views last activity

The Trapper (Evan MacMillan) is one of the oldest killers in the game and is generally thought of as the poster child for Dead by Daylight overall. With that being stated even with the upcoming changes to their power itself why does the killer still feel so weak. I believe that it is a combination of many things but his power is now very outdated for DBD compared to his other two original compa0 comments 21 views last activity
