Is this 2017 again? I took a year long break from DbD in 2017, because it was basically bully simulator 2017. Killer was unfun, and survivor was just pure easy mode. (Don't forget infinite loops and pallet vacuum was still a thing back then!) After reading the developer updates, I couldn't help but think that removing the unlockable masks for The Cannibal was such a knee jerk response to the feedback regarding racism and how it was being portrayed. Removing the cosmetics entirely "cuz racist" is punishing the entire community, and not singling out those who actually went out of their way to be racist using said cosmetics. I don't think I've ever seen so much salt for one new chapter since I started playing this game. This new chapter is very refreshing. The feel of the killer, his power, perks etc. are great. I suggest playing PTB before all the salty bois and girls jump in and hate on the post. Like probably everyone who plays the game - There is some "bug" or game mechanic change that they want to be worked on. From the ranking system, certain perks and the good ol' Dead Hard reliability, to map design, hex totems and the dedicated server tech. You've basically proved a massive point that people have been making since 2017 - You only care about survivors and survivor mains. Hex: Ruin is officially dead and you can see in your statistics that it'll be used in less than 1% of all games. All because survivors can't hit skill checks? Lullaby is a better perk now.
