SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When you get healed by someone else, the camera is locked in the crouch position. It used to be that the camera stayed in standing position, unless you hit the crouch button, then it would move down. This got fixed. Well, 3 years after I reported it. :D Low priority, I get it. No complaint there. ANYWAY. It's still doing this if someone else mends you from a deep wound.0 comments 11 views last activity

When I was still on the team, I was definitely a proponent of this feature. I am no longer. I have too many games where it ends with two of us down (one on hook, or just both slugged) and the Killer waits for one to die to mori the other. This wasn't a problem with the old "Mori Finisher" we tried on PTB that one time, but I get nobody liked that system, either. I am not sure what the solution12 comments 382 views last activity

Got a new PC with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X and an RX 9070 XT, Windows 11 latest version. I have DBD set for 90 FPS, vsynced. Quite often I get 5-10 frame stutters where nothing moves. It's messing up my ability to do skill checks. ๐ Just wondering if anyone here has any advice beyond the usual "update windows, update drivers, restart the computer" type stuff, as I've already been through them. :)4 comments 1,361 views last activity

I wrote this over on Reddit about asymmetic horror games and how they relate to DBD. https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/1i7rcxo/almos_take_on_why_so_many_multiplayer_asymmetric/7 comments 441 views last activity

Regarding the Pig's 5-Box update: When we implemented this, we added another alteration to the key system, which was not announced. We didn't wish to call attention to it due to its complexity, but in light of the community response to the Five-Box update, we'd like to clarify that the Pig's update in this release is not a nerf. At the start of a match, The Pig begins with three "searches" per103 comments 4,841 views last activity

Hi! Just wanted to address one common concern I've seen from the community. "They nerfed Ruin so it wouldn't be hard for new Survivors." That's not quite what the intention was. This is subtle, but bear with me. New Ruin is in fact really brutal for new Survivors... because it is insidious . They have no idea what's happening, and they struggle to get gens done at all. Hi! We've got enough data since the Oni release to make some comments on Legion's performance after the speed update. For all platforms, all maps and all ranks, from Nov 2 2019 to Dec 2 2019, the Legion's average killrate was 61.99%, ranking him 12/17 in killrate. For reference, Nurse is at the bottom with 43.9% and The Nightmare is at the top with 70.83%. In the same period but just looking a175 comments 6,216 views last activity

Hi! I'm one of the live balance designers, and I'd like to introduce myself and give some background on some of the things I've done. I designed my first game when I was about 10; I took Gabriel's Point Blank and made a new set of rules for it. The new version was more chess-like than the original, but it didn't work very well and tended to get bogged down on the small board. I maintained an in35 comments 832 views last activity

Hi! Just so we all know for sure we're talking about the same thing, here's what "Tomes" and "Levels" in the Archives are: Tomes have 4 Levels. Tome 1 is the currently available one. Level 1 was the first web you saw when the Archives released, and Level 2 was just released a few days ago. Tome 2 will come out with the next mid-chapter update. Hope this helps clarify things! :)15 comments 323 views last activity
