  • My wishlist

    1. Add reward (2 million BP? 4000 shards? 100 auric cells?) for completing 100% all 4 levels of tomes, both killer and survivor to incentive near-exclusive mains to play and better appreciate the challenges of both sides. Allow 100% completed tomes to be replayed (will increase challenges that can be played for those that have completed all of them without waiting for new tomes to be released
    2. QoL - Increase font size of survivor names on killer lobby and brighten all names on end-of-match scoreboard for us on console who can't just lean in 4 inches like PCs can to see better
    3. Add basekit tenacity after being slugged 2 minutes. Award BP to downed survivors who avoid either hook or moris to bleed-out in 4-slug matches or 2 person end-of-match slug to provide some game-play option so isn't just a boring wait-till-it-ends time (would prefer a different anti-slug option, but at least give us this!!)
    4. Change thumbs up on end-of-match scoreboard to gifting BP (500? 1000?) - e.g., to killers who want to farm or allow a survivor to escape, to randoms who go extra mile in end of match saves, to survivors who help baby killers learn their moves, etc. If you don't/can't chat, this would be only way to show appreciation when it matters
    5. Add voice lines for Bill Overbeck and other long-time survivors (and killers) with option to mute for those who don't like them
  • A Surrender that would let a Bot take over would be more fair to the remaining survivors , rather than just self-sacrificing on first hook. Of course, the question is whether BHVR has the computing power to run 23,000 bots at the same time.

  • If the Distortion nerf was going to happen anyway, I think the change was a bit overdone. I do like the suggestion that a survivor gets notification if they have been revealed. BHVR might like that just to cut down on the erroneous reporting of hacks.

One option to bring some function back might be to make it operate like Lethal Pursuer - block aura 1st time as it currently does, then afterward shortens aura read by 2 seconds until it has been recharged in chase.

Sometimes Bleedouts happen outside of the Killer's control. Someone could be downed, and then crawl off and die later, just to spite the Killer because they think the Killer is slugging when the Killer just needed to address something else and then the Survivor got lost in foliage. Is it fair to punish the Killer for the Survivor wanting to give the Killer a hard time.

Well, that sounds reasonable, but I'm guess the something else is not getting the downed survivor a bandage, or milk & cookies to help them feel better - more like downing another survivor, maybe the ONLY other one. I'm not blaming a killer for that, but not hooking them ought to have a trade-off, I want something productive to do while slugged, and I DO want to punish the killer, who, you can't forget, is wanting to punish/kill me. My question for those who main killer, but occasionally play survivor, what is your reaction when you get slugged to bleed out? Just passively accept it, or fight back in the only way you can?

And I do appreciate some killers would show mercy and take me to the gate, but I can't know that. But I have noticed an increase in 4x slugging and last-2 slugging in the last few months, and I expect there is an increase in bully SWFs at the same time. Based off the last survey, BHVR is likely going to do something and my proposal is likely less obnoxious to killers than many of the other ideas I've seen put out there.

  • Bleed-outs don't count as kills. That's not a punishment, that's a zero. Survivors do feel they are being punished by 4x slugging cuz they know the killers are giving up BP they don't need to. The end game slug where there's only 2 left is to max kills and BP, and the killer has near 100% control. There is basically NO game play left for the sluggie, but this is intended to change that. If you want to avoid it, use the hooks. I added something for killers to try to force survivors into the open for balance.

I've suggested in the past allowing players to replay completed Tomes so they weren't waiting for so long for new challenges and could speed up earning BP - but only if players did both roles so they would have perspective on both sides.

  • I intended the amount of BP to transfer from killer to survivor to be fairly small. I didn’t want it to be a massive game change, but something where a slugged survivor had SOMETHING they could play for during that final period. If you surveyed all the survivors who have been left to bleed out on purpose, I’d expect a large majority would like a final chance to stick it to the killer, even if it’s a small amount. PlsRewind, I’m more cooperative where its obviously a new killer (well, except when its Ghostface, lol) but a survivor can’t know those situations before the end of the match.

The birds for inactivity was intended not only to wrap up the end of the match, but also to apply to those annoying randoms who do basically nothing during a match when the other survivors are expecting some help to hopefully escape. Ideally this shouldn’t apply to someone with less than, maybe 30-50 hours in game.

  • My play style tends to stealthy and patient, so StB works for me in combination with Kindred. I generally use StB on my friends (we are NOT a coordinated SWF) but have used it on randoms if they appear to be tunneled or just weak on evasion. I’m glad it’s in. It is a niche perk, but aren’t most? I’m ok w being exposed using it, although it does seem a bit overlong considering it doesn’t change total hooks and doesn’t include any endurance. Halfway between the PTB and current would seem a better balance.

  • I commented on another thread that I would like to see the "Thumbs Up" replaced with a drop down list of BHVR pre-written comments that could be sent to other players. That would give console players a voice that would be fast to use. I would expect that 8-10 options would cover the large majority of situations, from "Good game", "Sorry for that, I had a challenge/ritual", "See you're new, stay with it!" , "Some of your game play was a bit sus", "Thanks for taking the risk to save me!", "It was safe enough to at least attempt a save :-( " among them. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to get a pretty comprehensive, non-toxic list.

  • It WAS fixed. Ok, killer lobby could have used some better vertical separation to avoid over lap, but was easier to see in both lobbies. But this last update it reverted to original size, THEN the survivors in killer lobby got pushed back even further to the point its hard to see the outfits, very difficult to see carried items, and user names are unreadable. A console player has to get off their chair, bed or recliner to go across the room, while a PC player just has to lean in a bit.

Please fix this. Get the dev who did this off their 35inch monitor onto a 14 inch. And dishonor on their cows.

  • If you don't like characters talking, don't buy the dialogue. A mute-option is a good idea. I thought Chucky is the closest to being a chatterbox, and that isn't excessive. As for the others, I thought their comments are pretty sparse, and I'm not suggesting any more than that. Like spice in food and profanity in conversation, a little can add flavor, a bunch is annoying.

  • After Nick Cage was added, I thought PeeWee Herman would be an interesting add, either as survivor or even killer. The dialogue would be hilarious. It'd be fun to watch him mount his tricycle and hit a survivor with a Blight-like rush.

  • You asked for a way for console players to communicate. I offered one I thought could be easy for the developers to implement, thus improving the chances of actually being implemented. I'd expect the range of responses, written by the devs, would cover the large majority of cases and exclude toxic responses. I thought that last point would be a feature, not a bug. Are you suggesting you want the option to be (and other console players) as toxic in this game as you've seen elsewhere?

  • Instead of a thumbs up that goes nowhere, could have that open a drop down with pre-written appropriate comments to select from. I’d expect 5-10 would cover pretty much all the bases, be quick to use, and avoid toxicity

  • I'm a bit puzzled over your comment, but maybe you see something I don't. Regular game play should not result in any expectation of receiving a reward, so I'm not sure where a "hold rewards over others" , or "fostering rude and harsh behavior" might apply. It ought to be given only when someone does something extra positive. It costs the giver something, so that by itself will limit its use. This should not be a participation trophy, which IMO does too much damage in unduly raising expectations. This isn't a community award, its a personal one, as respect and thanks should be. I did mention what I expect would be a rare potential for taunting by gifting, but there already are ways for taunts to be made, and the recipient gets nothing - my idea at least gets them something.

  • The issue on tunneling seems to center on SWF groups vs soloQ. The game knows which survivors come in together. Can a counter be added to the game to track how many come in as a group, and adjust the endurance timer so if its all soloQ, or 2 solo + 2 friends, the endurance effect is, say, 2 seconds longer, versus if 3 SWF + 1 solo, no change from current?  Would that balance both sides?

  • Doesn't It take 4 minutes to bleed out? That's quite a long boring time, and the only motivation/benefit to not dc is a slight satisfaction in not getting hooked. Semi tongue-in-cheek, what if, with one second left, a survivor went from dying to injured? Being downed then is an insta-kill, but now the dying survivor has a reason to keep engaged in the game, especially if the other random is simply waiting for you to die to get hatch.

  • Somehow all the portraits, but especially the killers, look like from a high school yearbook. Bring back the originals, please?

  • As a general observation, if someone suggests a killer buff, I hope they play plenty of survivor where they would be ok facing off against that buff. The same for a survivor main suggesting killer nerfs, or survivor buffs. If you don't play plenty of both sides, its harder to appreciate whether a change is a helpful tweak or seeking advantage as a main.

  • Love the dialogue bits for Nick Cage, Ash Williams, Chuckie and Trickster. Would like to hear some for others (Bill Overbeck would be great!), that could be summoned by the player on demand (for consoles using the D pad buttons not used for gestures). Would think this would be easier to do than gestures
