  • This happen also in the other way. Rank 1 killer, almost always face purple/green ranks survivor. The problem is that most people like to derank since there arent rewards for getting at higher ranks, only longer queue and stronger opponents ( for me is the only reason i stay up here, but a lot of people seem to prefer easy wins at lower ranks)

Derank is a huge problem. If you go down to rank 10 or more, is fine. Problems comes when you derank all the way to rank 15. This is an offense to other players in my opinion. People who do this negate the fun and the chance to learn how to play for newer players. i have a smurf with some friends that we made to teach the game to another friend and have some fun, but all we get are ebony mori, p3 billy with endfury ruin and bbq, great spirits and other deranked killers with 4 techable level 3 perks. This is also true for survivors.

Btw, for deranked i mean rank 15 (since you can't go lower than it) with good perks and addons that clearly know what thay are doing.

That being said, the problem is not that bad. I mean, in the past this was even worse. Rank 20 against rank 1 without swf. When i first started to play, there was a super abused exploit to match as a rank 20 no matter your rank. I started playing against 4 man swf rank 1. Is hard, and most of the time is unfun, but this will make you play better. This will help you in the long run. I decided to become a good killer to teach them a lesson, and thats what i have done.

  • I love when people use "not fun to play and play against" as an argument. Its just useless saying this. Fun is a subjective thing. For me is fun to play Legion and unfun to play Billy, someone want to say that i am wrong?

So please, if someone want to talk about anything, don't say such things as "he is not fun" or "his power his bad", because its meaningless. Explain why and then we can have an useful and acceptable discussion.

I find The Legion a good killer. They need some little tweaks, but not a complete rework or a massive buff. Their power is strong when used as intendeed, so for slowing the game down and not for chasing

  • Gen tapping is bad. The generator will take a lot more time. Is better to just get good skillchecks than gentapping.

Most killers like to go near their hex totems as soon as the match start. Keep always an eye for it

  • There are no difference. PC, Xbox and Ps4. All 3 have the same killers with the same powers. The only difference is that Nurse is harder to learn, but once you take enough pratice, she will be the same as a PC Nurse. So yeah, same game, same tier list.

@xnes_galax even in red ranks survivors regularly don't repair gens closest to each other. Light patrolling and they run away to do unwanted for the Killer gens, and thats why they die frequently.

True. I play mostly killer and this is what give me more wins. Making them repair the generators that i want. However good survivors know what i am trying to do and try to force me on leaving to complete these. Is the same that i do. If the killer is clearly working on a 3 gen strat, i try my best to distract him or repair one of the generators without the killer noticing.

If this perk show the aura to all survivors, maybe it could be a decent pick for solo q, but as it is right now, i just can't find a use for deja vu

  • You can do it by yourself. After the first minutes in a match you should already know the position of all 7 generators. I never have problem with 3 gen strat because i alway split my work on different generators. One side of the map, then the other side. Dejà vú could help a new player. That's all. I dont find any reason to keep it in the game like that

  • I find fast survivor match in the morning and instant killer match evening/night. You have to adapt o based on your timezone

  • The "best build" doesn't exist, is up to personal preference and circumstances, but of course there are generally better perks than others.

These are the perks that i find really strong on spirit. Mix them up and find your way.

PGTW, STBFL, whispers, BBQ, Rancor, overcharge, surveillance, distressing, agitation, infectious fright, MYC, deerstalker, discordance, KO, sloppy butcher

  • I never got grabbed, it could only happen if you miss the stun and he press M1 with a particular timing and angle. Its more about hitboxes and latency. The perk always worked when used correctly. And again, sometimes it feel like it should have stunned, but is all about latency and a weird timing.

  • The Doctor is, in my opinion of course, the worst killer in the game. Even worse than old freddy.

You are right, the Slow in threatment is stupid and the slow while charging the shock is even more absurd. Everytime i face a doctor during a chase, i see that he will try to shock me. I just keep on looping and when he get a lot of bloodlust i throw the pallet before he can shock me again. Yes, it can give you an hit on a window, but is so much situational that you cant even consider this a part of his power.

He would have been a great killer with a stealth meta, but it isnt. Luckly, devs said they are looking into him and i hope for the best.

What nerf? They just made the perk 100x better because it actually works when it should; why would you ever want to go back to the perk only work 10% of the time?

Because it wasn't a buff. They made the perk more easy to use, but it always worked as intendeed. If the killer was in range, then he would have got the stun. The problem is that most of the player didn't know the timing and the range.(which were weird, but consistent)

Why this is a nerf? Well the reason is simple. Less effective stun time. It still 3 seconds stun, but the stun starts as soon as you exit the locker, not at animation completed. This means the first second of stun is basically useless since you are stuck in the animation as well.

Also, if you fail and don't stun the killer, he will now see the animation and know you have this perk. Is a minor problem, but still a disadvantage.

This is clearly a nerf. Less effective stun and no surprise effect but more easy to use.

Is like if they made decisive's skillcheck big as snap out of it but the stun last less time. Would you call it a buff? I don't think so.

  • All i want for Head on is to revert the nerf and make it how it was originally, but make the range a little bit longer (not necessarely wider) and make so the killer has to be right in front of the locker to open it. This will be a thing for all match and all killer, is not even a nerf since if you want to open a locker you wont mind if you have to take 1 or 2 step more in order to open it, but this will allow to use head on for self defense (right now the head on stun range is the same as the "open locker" promt range).

  • We encouter again my dear friend, i support this idea. Me and some other friends had thought about it some time ago, and i really like to see that others people like this concept and would love to have a completly coustomizable private match.

If this will never be a thing, i think the KYF mode will finally get the attention it deserve and we could have the fun and the "balance" that ranked matches can't provide us.

  • Killer perk

Escape is not an escape : the first 2/3/4 survivors that escape the trial, will be sent into another trial with a killer that has 400/800/1000ms. (At level 3) you will also be sent in the new trial.

    Survivor perk

AURAS! : red auras become white, white auras become yellow, yellow auras become red. This affect you and 2/3/3 other survivors (at level 3) and the killer

  • Aside the most populare opinion, when played correctly, The Legion can be really effective and (subjectively) enjoyable.

You asked for some reasons to play them. Well, here they are:

The Legion is arguably the best killer to grind BP and Emblem Points. This is because their power let you fill deviousness and hunter, as well as brutality really quickly.

Another good reason that i can give you is the fact that Legion isn't your classic aggressive-chaser killer, even if a lot of people think that, but is a great defensive killer. A complelty different playstyle.

  • I haven't played him yet, but i think a solid build can easly by :

    BBQ/PGTW/enduring/discordance

    This gives you

Two info perks, 2 gameslowing perks and a chase perk

Discordance count both as an info perk and as a gameslowing perk since if they won't work on generator together you will have more time to find them.

  • Edit: I don't want this message to look like an accuse at your expirience or skills or something, im just letting you know what i think about him.

I play a lot of Legion, and i can say that you aren't right, not about everything at least.

Legion isn't by any mean one of the worst killers. Their ability to slow down the game is amazing and the pressure they can put on survivors is incredible.

You said that Legion power is bad for chases, and this is true. Feral Frenzy is useless in chase. This is way you don't use it in a chase.

The Legion is a defensive killer, kinda like the Hag, and as a defensive killer you don't stay on a chase all match. You run and defend generators. Im actually working on a legion guide so im not gonna write it all here, but please, try it and you will understand how much Legion can do.

You also said that they are really bad to get to rank 1, but this is completly false. In fact they are probably the best killer to farm bp and pips. Just by messing around you have 2 guaranteed iridescent emblems, malicious and chaser.

About the perks, you are right, in fact gameslowing perks are great on him, but chase perks aren't, since you shouldn't even take a chase.

Oh and just a little thing about mending, it take 10 second by default, so you can literally give them 1 more generator to do each 8 frenzy hits.
