Can we PLEASE make sure that the anti-slug and anti-tunnel changes don't sit in limbo forever? Ever since they got walked back after the PTB, it's been literally 80-90% of my games where the killer either hard tunnels or bounces between 2 survivors, and then proceeds to slug for the 4k. It's gotten so much worse, either out of spite or because they want to do it while they can.
I know there were problems with the PTB, but I think the core changes were all good. I'd say just get rid of the gen-related debuffs and everything was totally fine. The anti-slug was totally balanced (everyone that's said otherwise had a misunderstanding of how it worked), and removing the unhook notification + extending and adding unhook protections were both good changes. Rewarding the killer for not double-hooking was also fine, but the related perks shouldn't have been nerfed so hard.
Please just don't table these changes indefinitely because the SoloQ experience is deteriorating by the minute.

The thing about Tunneling is that a majority of the communities solution is to incentives not tunneling, to give the killers a plus for not doing it. As smart as that sounds, it wouldn't solve tunneling, while just helping killers who already don't tunnel. If killers want to tunnel they will still tunnel. With the event we had with the deep fog I think we get maybe a decent solution there. Make it so killers can't see hooked survivor auras, and when they are hooked the survivor is teleported to a random far hook. That way when a survivor is unhooked the killer can't just head back to ir to tunnel. This would also help against A-hole survivors who like to unhook in front of the killer.
Pyramid Head's cages are perfect anti-tunnel, and there's no reason regular hooks can't have the same functionality.

It has to be a hex totem, so it only progresses if the totem you bless is glowing.

I was also able to unlock the achievement on steam.
-
Bumping again because I went to see if it was fixed in the last patch and it wasn't.
-
Any updates?
-
Bumping this because I just discovered this in game. :)
-
Can confirm that RPD works

What challenge is that? What platform are you on? I don't see a "That's Rude" challenge on Steam.

See subsequent edits lol

I am also still unable to progress the Viral Video achievement on Steam.

IT"S FIXED Y"ALLEDIT: maybe. Just played a game and it didn't work. I'll restart Steam and try again.
EDIT 2: Still not progressing on Steam

can we at least get an update on this? It's been "Under Review" for over a month. It's clearly an issue.
Is the support ticket for this bug in an upcoming dev sprint or is it sitting in the backlog? Can we expect this to be fixed in the next Patch?
Some communication is all we want.

Still not fixed. It's been broken for even longer on Steam:

agree with you maybe they should change the requirement for the trophy if they still need it in the trophy section, this how the trophy supposed to be "Apply inexorable stare on 30 survivors with The Onryō in public matches"
It's actually supposed to be easier than that. You literally get a point for each stack of condemned you apply to each survivor. So each teleport will get you 4 pts and hitting a survivor with a tape is 2pts. It's normally a really easy achievement. Which is why it's so frustrating that it's the hardest (impossible) to get rn.

Just checking in to say it still doesn't work on PC/Steam. I reported it a couple weeks ago and they said they were aware of the issue. I've been anxiously reading all the patch notes since then and not a single mention, not even in the "Known Issues" section. If you can't fix it then just get rid of the achievement BHVR. We just want to 100% the game.

Player here: Idk if the flashbang has the same mechanics as the flashlight, but the killer only drops the player if they're actively wiggling. If the survivor they are carrying is not struggling, blinding them won't force a drop.
