  • I get it for survivors new to the game who don't feel confident to continue fixing gens/getting into chases while injured. When people in green ranks and above are using it, then I definitely think it does more harm than good to the team. It takes so long to heal that you could make some gen progress or even cleanse a totem in that time. It's also funny because if the killer is running Nurses Calling then you're consistently drawing their attention to your location. It's just an all round useless perk that only benefits yourself and not the team.

The only context in which I think it'd be useful is when there's only two survivors left in the trial and the other gets hooked. It means you can get yourself to full health again without getting instantly downed when saving your team make, but having said that, med kits are way more efficient and don't waste a perk slot.

  • I had this a couple weeks ago. I was playing solo and got matched with a rank 5 Hillbilly as a rank 12 survivor. Between myself and two of the team we got 4 gens done, did multiple chases, and got hooked multiple times. There was a Claudette who didn't get hooked once, didn't help with gens, and just played stealthily the whole game (only cleansing totems which was the one useful thing she did). She waited for the last other survivor to die on hook and went straight for the hatch as she obviously already knew where it was.

I don't get it! Her score was pretty poor at the end, and had she helped we probably would've made it as a team or at least a three. Escaping isn't the ultimate end game, and some of my best scores have come from rounds where I've not escaped, but met the objectives and been super altruistic.

  • I couldn't agree with this more. I have a slight weakness in my hand so the continuous and repetitive pressing of the 'A' button on my Switch is so tiring and often I just let myself go on the second hook because I can't be bothered fighting with it.

The devs really, really need to change this. I don't see why it can't be changed to just simply holding down the button? Or even just having skill checks or something? Please look at changing this in the near future as it's a really poor design.
