How would you know, the PTB isn't even out yet? Current Dead Hard is horrible, so sorry, you're actually gonna need a little skill to use a perk that gives you an extra health state for free. Circle of Healing and Dead Hard have turned too many mediocre players into high MMR players for quite long enough. Time to separate the men from the boys as the saying goes

  • You get the points and get to progress after the community goal is reached.

  • It's annoying, but only as annoying as bad rng on hook placements. Once I know they have it I make sure I know which way I'm heading before I pick them up again. It's easily countered by Iron Grasp.

I don't truly understand the Iron Will nerf. It was more about the fact the perk removed the breathing as well, which was a bug... Right?

I mean, I'm glad to see the meta being changed, but if it means having the meta perks useless to replace them by other perks that everyone will use... Well. It's just changing the meta rather than bringing more variety.

I was so sure Iron Will was gonna be useless that I stopped to use it a couple of weeks ago to get used of not having it. I guess it was a good decision for me.

If every character has the same range of sound as you said, it'd be easier to pick different Survivors.

I can't even stand to listen to injured Yun without IW

This makes the most sense for those who don't like the sound of their character. And yeah, some survs make really annoying sounds.

But for killers, some more than others, it's a lot more than just a QoL feature.

Sure, sure, mute the sounds of you puking when I have you infected, I don't think so. If I gotta deal with the annoying whisper chanting when I have Corrupt Purge going, you gotta hear yourself puke.

  • I'm pretty concerned that 90 second gen times is an inadvertent buff to camping. The devs seem like they had their finger on the pulse of their game with most of the proposed changes in the update, and they certainly addressed tunneling very well in my opinion. But I feel like they lumped camping and tunneling together as the same problem, and it's not. What's worse, all the post-hooking information perks were nerfed. BBQ and Chili gives you no bloodpoints now, Scourge Hook Pain Resonance doesn't blow up the generator anymore, so you might struggle to figure out where you should head next. Even Tinkerer only prompting once per gen hurts. It's actually going to be pretty attractive to hang around the hook and see if you can't deal some damage to the rescuers, knowing they can't pressure the gens as much while you do. I feel at the very least they need to extend hang time for survivors by 5 seconds per stage in order to offset the 10 seconds more it takes to do the generators. Camping itself needs it's own solution in the long run, whether it's slowing or pausing the timer for the hooked survivor, or perks like Deadlock not activating/deactivating if your within so many meters of a hooked survivor. Whatever they do, this update has restored some of my confidence that the devs are paying attention, and big problems will eventually be addressed.

  • I have not seen a hacker is ages, nor even seen any content where others are running into them like before. I have been experiencing the weird rubber-banding glitch, most noticeably n my killer matches, and was told it could have something to do with a new anti-hack monitoring program running in the background. No idea if that's true, but as much as i don't like the rubber-banding, it's way less disruptive than a hacker.
