I have same issue. I play for fun, not speed, or camping hooked. I leisurely walk from gen to gen scouting. If someone gets unhooked I feel like letting them heal first and get some fun instead of being camped. I hit speed demon games that get gens started rather quickly it seems. A question do any of you play catch n release on newbies? "Trying to see if any true gamers have honor" If I catch a newbie for 2 or 3 time really quick I drop them off by a gen to get healed and earn points. None stay behind after gates open. All hang out gate flipping you the bird 🐦 pretty much. No honor. I have stayed behind cause the killer did me in twice and let me go third time. I know there are some killers out there doing it.

Yes, wait just like I did in the military or for va. Bring a book. Survivors do 3 things at the end, two of which is okay.
1) wait for other Survivor(s).
2) heal each other then leave
3) be scumbags and drag the time out.
The other thing that needs to change is if you do chase them to the gate an hit them the "ENTITY" should grab them then and there. If they crawl through first gate and make it to second that's fine.

I agree, if I play killer and sorry to say a survivor plays me that long I either camp them or ignore them whole match (which pisses off the survivors either way). This is not on you though but you had fun being chased did the other team members? Yeah they did gens unnoticed, what fun. It is a catch-22.

i guess you never heard of cell phones and texting even in the later Halloween movies (resurrection) for instance the only horror movies that didnt have tons of comms was the classics before cell phones even existed
I guess you didn't finish reading the hole thing. You read the first and maybe 2nd sentence and stopped. If you had finished it, you would have seen comment about cell phones, walkie-talkies, or tin-can & string. Please reread if you will, then rethink answer, and then comment that would be grand. Please divulge what super power you have for hearing over long distance? What super power let's you see far off in the distance? Unless using walkie-talkies, cell phones, or tin-can & string. I call BS. Real Survivor's can only communicate when they meet up in person, if by chance. If all game survivor's are using same platform and speaking to each other that is a load of B. S. But you are entitled to your own opinion but think about it logically.

I read that a lot of you complain about the killer camping or tunneling you. Have you stopped to consider the reason the killers probably do it? Is it because the killers are tired of the idiots whom play "RING-AROUND-THE-ROSIE". Idiots who like to taunt at the end of the game instead of going threw the gate waiting till the last second. If the survivors want to play "ASSININE" so should the killers. Camping and Tunneling to bad, stop screwing with the killer and the killers might stop screwing with you. But hey it is easier to complain and whine that someone is ruining your day by not playing fair though right?

I am 2months into DBD, first posting, and play as a killer. As far as camping in front of a hook - beginners trying to get an understanding of the game. I camped a lot. Why not? As a killer it is your job to kill. Most hunter/killers wait for their prey to die watching them. If it also brings you more prey, then bonus. After awhile I learned that some people care about team mates and others did generators only. I switched my tactics to hook n leave. I only return if i am short ways away and they get unhooked. As far as chasing, if you want to play ring around the rosy - I leave you alone. Other players to chase and just ignore the hell out of you.
The most bs part is survivor's tea bagging at the end. That is when I would have liked to camp that player and slash the heck out of them on the hook. The other part is if you get hit in that end gate you shouldn't be able to move to the exit. That is crap. I would give if you can crawl across the first gate I would say that you can crawl to second. Hanging around just to taunt should be a penalty.
