    Looping? That's so 2020.

WoO turns many (if not most) survivors into pre drop and Shift + W machines. This makes the game extremely boring. You cannot mind game Shift + W and it reduces the interactivity in chase (arguably the most fun part of DBD). The killer plays more against the map and perk than the survivor themself, while the survivor stops thinking and follows the glowing yellow boxes. Truly riveting gameplay. Zoning doesn't work in this situation either.

If WoO went on a cooldown every X seconds, it would actually encourage looping because that would eliminate its other use. You would still know where to go and buying yourself a bit of time by looping would reward you with more information.

Pre-dropping does have counter-play, it’s go around, there are so many unsafe loops you can get a hit in at and if it’s a safe loop you’re just gonna have to break the pallet. As killer if you see their pre dropping you can also hide your stain (mind game) so they don’t know which side to be on and that’s a hit 9/10 times. I feel like most people forget that WoO gives the same info an experienced player would know but it doesn’t make them good at the game.

  • I think it’s fine as is, that survivor still has to know how to loop and there’s many killers that have a power to help you catch them in chase. Also zoning is a very good tool against WoO not to mention there’s add ons for most killers that cause blindness. Personally i’d rather have and go up against a team that loops instead of excessively hiding it makes the game more interesting.

  • I would like them to be shared, before when survivors only had to be level 45 or 40 (I can’t remember as this point) to share perks I got them all to that level then poured everything into Nea because she was the most appealing for me to play as at the time and now theres so many survivors out that I would like to play as them but I feel stuck on her because it would take so long to rack up items/offerings. And I know I could just pour more blood points into those survivors but i’m like what’s the point for just a cosmetic change.

The main reason why I think it's fair for Blight and Oni to have flicks and not Chucky is that for 99% of loops you can actually see Oni and Blight. But Chucky is already at a major advantage because you can barely see him, and the footsteps take a while to appear.

And if he can flick using S&D on loops, he is just not fun to go against.

I also do believe that despite sharing common "abilities", Chucky, Blight, Wesker, and Oni should have their dashes work differently.

Also CMV = Change my view.

Agreed especially since you can’t use “any means necessary” to block him from scampering under pallets anymore.

  • Same, like you said it’s not 100% of the time but every now and again a crow will fly away from me and i’m on xbox

  • I had the same issue but it wasn’t against alien can’t remember exactly which killer

  • Maybe not change the spawn but the distance it’ll register so that you have to be touching it to get in. I think this would help with the vault issue but also wouldn’t change up the plays if someone had like quick and quiet because you would just have to take the loop tighter to be hugging the wall and brush the locker.

  • YES! There’s a huge difference when you go against a pc killer to console and if I want to avoid that then all i can do is sit indefinitely looking for a match it should pre-populate lobbies when this is on and prioritize the consoles to be together. No doubt this would cause an increase in queue time so what if it was an option to set a cap on the time your waiting for the lobby. For example you set the what I envision as a slider for the amount of minutes you’ll wait in that console priority queue before allowing it to switch to cross network. By doing this the people that really don’t want to go against pc can wait until they find games and the people that are somewhat okay but would like to avoid it can have that option.

  • I don’t think this would work because say you prestige your killer/survivor to where you have most of the perks in game, how many of those do you remember exactly what they do without the description? And how many of those perks do people not use at all because they’re just a waste of a perk slot? Also what about the killers that have unique gameplay and some perks are incompatible?

However I would be on board with an optional randomization.

  • We do have one but as soon as you turn the option off your never gonna get a match i’ve tried during the most populous gaming hours and it never happens

i think it should just prepopulate the lobbies when this option is on and keep people with consoles in that lobby till it’s full. I know this would likely cause queue times to increase but i truly think it would only be a noticeable increase when no one is playing at that time.
