Yes
Swf with strong perk builds and items, offerings is basically lowering the difficulty of your game to 'easy' so when they lose of course they're gonna be extra salty and toxic.
SoloQ is also not that hard as most people make it out to be, I often escape without min maxing everything in survivals arsenal and it's lot more fun imo, because it requires me to make smart plays and not rely all the time on my perks/teammates to remedy my mistakes.

Can't even blame them to be honest
-
Whispers, I think it's amazing once you learn how to use it properly

That's like saying survivors only run meta perks cuz thats the only way they are good. To me survivors can run whatever they want. Perks and killers are there to be used, not avoid because someone is a salty Sally for losing
don't mind me bro, just my opinion, not all of treat this game like esports, some of us wanna have a chill time, which is hard since everyone in this game is a sweaty ahole
-
Spirit with good headphones and decent perks is easy mode, only reason people play her is how strong she is. I never found her appealing, her 'power' is just moving faster with little counterplay from survivor side if you have decent hearing, and I don't like playing anything that I find annoying to play vs either
-
Can't really blame you, often ppl just go afk or suicide when vsing a spirit, everyone maining spirit does so because they know how broken nd easy to be good with her is, if you don't mind goind deaf from 11/10 volume with stridor on.
-
Playing this game competitive is kind of pointless imo considering the rng and how much it can be tilted in favor of either side.
I play killers mostly addonless, with various builds because I find it boring to run same meta perks all the time.
However because I don't tryhard as much, I often get stomped on by meta surv perks with items/ map offerings, so I don't play killer that much anymore.
Same with survivor, I prefer running offmeta perks usually without items, or if I bring any it's usually a brown medkit for that one heal I need during the game. Survivor is much easier to play anyways that you can do fine without items and with one or two 2nd chance perks, which are all meta of course.

I've really wanted to try out dance with me, lithe, fixated, and maybe red herring just to see if it can be a good time waster set up against killer
sounds also really good, it's lot more fun to run than meta perks all the time you see on most people, and it catches lot of killers by surprise
-
Using spine chill, fixated and sprint burst is really strong stealth combo if you know how to use it properly, if you tap the run button to activate sprint burst, you actually 'walk' or jog alot faster without leaving scratchmarks and make quite a distance, especially if you get lucky with map/ tile, goes really well with lightweight or calm spirit, I'm surprised I haven't seen more people using it that way.

SoloQ red ranks is so sweaty; freddies, spirits, nurses, deathslinger/ blight here and there, rarely I get clown, myers, ghostface, pig and the rest of the squad. Lot of proxy camping, tunelling, winning at any cost. I rarely bring any items, and usually have mediocore build and still escape pretty often if I don't mess up really bad and teammates aren't completely braindead.
Killer games go pretty much the same, same perks on most of survivors, bringing really strong medkits, toolboxes, which is almost like a 5th perk, not taking into account coms, map offerings, which only tilts it even more to their side.
I play killers mostly addonless, and trying out off meta perks and builds only to be stomped on by every second chance perk in the game. I know which perks are strong, mostly gen regression ,but it gets so boring using the same perks over and over again just to 'win', I'd rather have fun than win, but it's really hard unless you accept from the start that you're probably gonna lose if you're not using anything to slow the game down. Most survivors are not that good at the game, but get carried hard by items/perks all the time, and often they think they're amazing for it.

Shame, those locomotion animations were neat, and new animations without it looks even more awkward

You had to learn her? You mean buy good headphones?
Literally this.
She's really not that hard to be amazing with if you have one of those imo.
-
Spirit, mostly due to how easy it is to become good with her with little practice and good headphones.
-
Survivor, when I had fun that match even if I die on hook, if there were funny moments, or good plays on either side
Killer, well, good luck having fun as one without sweating like a mf with meta perks and addons, I mostly play addonless killers with fun gimmicky builds, only to get stomped on by meta ,then being called 'gg ez' in aftergame chat
-
Survivor: depends on what kind of playstyle I'm going for, I get tired of listening/ being the same survivor all the time
Killer: clown, myers, ghostface, but I play every killer except nurse and huntress
-
It's not as bad as people make it up to be, sure people do dumb mistakes sometimes, but so do I all the time, i imagine I've made lot of my teammates upset, but at red ranks most people generally know what they're doing and do a decent job at looping ,doing gens etc.
Besides, it all adds to the rng flavor not knowing what I'm up againsst and who with :)
Coming from 2k+ hours of someone who played mostly as soloQ survivor
-
Idk man, I play solo almost always, and often get to rank 1 or at least swim around red ranks without running super sweaty builds/ items, sometimes even without info perks, makes the game lot more interesting imo, I like challenging myself, and having to think smart, it's what hooked me to the game in first place
-
Mostly clown, myers, ghostface, blight (even though I'm bad with him, he's lot of fun to play)
-
Learn to drop a chase if you're not getting anything out of it.
Use perks that suit your playstyle more than what is 'meta' imo.
Play by your own rules, you're the killer, your job is to kill. If you get gen rushed early, look for a solid 3 gen if possible, play more defensively tunnel or camp if need be, survivors play dirty all the time, why not you?
If you do great you'll get 'omg , tunneller, camper etc', if you do badly you'll be 'gg ez, baby killer #########', so pick your poison.
Turn off that aftergame chat and keep practicing, you will only get better with time.

I love running pharmacy, I think it's legit better than self care, I'd rather have one quick heal than to spend 32 seconds ( 40 with sloppy ) self caring. Also less chance that killer will bring franklin's if they see lobby full of items, which happens frequent.
-
Sure let me subject myself to a match full of stress and BM so that I could entertain some meta sweaty kids.
Thanks, I'll pass.
-
Seeing that tinkerer proc one after another during chase.
-
You can't stop me!
-
Stress related to killer gameplay.
-
When I'm playing killer I'm stressing out like crazy, but when I play survivor it's mostly chill despite the outcome.
Always thought it should be the other way around since you're the 'killer', but most of the matches it's race against time and playing tag with survivors.
-
Spirit, mostly because there's little counterplay involved especially when every spirit is using stridor
-
No mercy for blendettes, claudette with somewhat decent skin? I don't mind
-
Used to play killer, I got only so much patience left so I'm just gonna pass on the overall toxicity and bm, even if I die first and get facecamped it's better alternative
-
I hate vs a spirit, always stridor on them and a hag, more because of her playstyle of proxy camping, not blaming them actually, more to do with killer design.
I love versing the shape, only killer that can still make me jump after 2k hours, with best chase music to date imo.
-
Sorry, killer gameplay is just too stressful if I wanna relax and have fun after long day.
It's either run meta and sweat, or get stomped on.
I'd rather play soloQ and run niche perks and have fun rather than put up with toxicity.
