The fact that oni hasn't been nerfed since being in 2v8 is absolutely insane, why did a killer that was already going to be buffed simply by being in 2v8 need to be buffed even more? It makes 0 sense, and he's still got the buffs. I would love to hear the what motivated their decision, also if they even tested some of these features before actually adding them to the mode, or if they just throw them together and call it a day.

Thank you for adding oni to this gamemode :) Then buffing him :))

I'm tired of being hooked next to either the other killer or right next to the same killer that hooked me. This is the 4th iteration of 2v8 I believe, so how is it that they still haven't fixed the hook spawns? Last game I got hooked by deathslinger twice, and proceeded to spawn me next to him both times… The game doesn't seem to have a problem with hooking me far away from all my teammtes though, so that's great :D

The best solution is more and stronger servers globally. We do not need more lobby dodging messing with the matchmaking even more.
Then they should make that happen, but forcing players to play laggy matches isn't the route either. You'd think they'd have a solution by now, but instead they would rather release new cosmetics and killers so they can make more money to keep in their pockets instead of tryign to make the game better :D

If I had to guess, they removed it because people would just dodge the lobby if they noticed a high ping. I did it all the time because it's dumb to play in a high ping lobby. Now, there's no choice, which is a shame. If BHVR doesn't want to put the ping indicator back in, at least give us the option to wait longer for a more fair match.
Most online games are going to be unplayable if the ping is too high, you don't see other popular games hiding players ping for that reason as well. Players shouldn't be forced to play a laggy match, especially when they're constantly going against killers with higher ping.

BHVR will never show ping in lobby. If they were ever going to, they would have done it long ago. They care more about quantity of players in the game than the quality of player experience. Too bad for you if you get stuck in an unfair match with a VPN-abusing player.
You used to be able to see it in the bottom right corner in the lobby, I'm not sure when they added and removed (for some reason) but they did. There's 0 reason for them to remove it, but it doesn't make them money, so they don't care! :D

I guess I'll have to rely on another software to help me until Behavior fixes this issue.

if you're on PC you can use either wireshark or exit lag to see the server you're connected to in lobby

Killers can double tap with ghost, and survivors can escape chases with smoke bomb.
I would say this is pretty balanced - and fun.
You don't like it? - They made this an option, you can always go and play normal mode.
Man, I’m so glad I’m not a developer for DBD. No matter how hard they try to keep things balanced, there’s always going to be complaints over the smallest details.
don't worry, I for one am glad you don't work there either, the balancing there makes 0 sense. "Survivors can maybe lose chase in a smoke bomb while killers can insta down with no repercussions" Sounds balanced to me :D

Can we talk about why it's suddenly necessary to mindlessly buff tentacle strike like this without testing it on the PTB?
The new cool down for all hits, regardless of it being infection or damage, combined with the new hinder duration, is going to make Nemesis feel very oppressive in chase. Ironically, he will still be a bad killer because this doesn't address his lack of mobility and map presence, thanks to nothing being looked at with zombies.
And a range buff to tier 3? You guys have just made it legally required that every Nemesis runs Marvin's blood and Licker tongue. Running anything else is now throwing the game. The zombies are AWFUL.
From a die hard Nemesis main, can we please take his buffs in a different direction? It's going to feel like skull merchant to play and face this killer. Adjust his addons, make zombies more consistent with base kit ways to counter them, maybe give him mobility or real ranged attacks (the rocket launcher.)
We finally have Nemesis being looked at, but now he's just going to be forgotten about when his kill rates increase.
It's crazy that they went through the time to change him, yet haven't addressed the whip missing, yet still hitting survivors because he turns while the whip is actively retracting

its nothing with mmr really, i just think people know how to play this game mode now, so now that people know how to play the game "optimally" and by that i mean killers cage a survivor and immediately book it to the other side of the map since that's how caging really works and tunnel players out. The fun of 2v8 is no more and now its just sweaty asf. Leave it to the dbd community to take the fun out of anything

My mate just died to NOED, the hag got 3 hooks the whole game and all of us shoudl have escaped, but the hag just got a free kill thx to this crutch.
Why are the survivors punished for playing well and doing gens?
PS: We dont have mom yet.... p2w
I too believe that noed is op, and I don’t understand the comparison between noed and adrenaline, for adrenaline at least you have to work for tht 5 second speed boost, while as noed all you have to do is... nothing. if anything noed is like ds, although I think tht ds is hella more balanced than noed, especially after the rework, but I’d gladly sacrifice ds if it means getting rid of noed as well, the game would require that much more skill for the end game
