Im gonna play devils avocate here, give me a reason for a killer to go chase a good looper, I have heard the claseic "you chase them to learn and improve" and thats true to an extend, if they go to a jungle gym or other tiles that can be played, but if you see a good looper goong into a good setup or for example GoJ main, house of pain, badham main, disturbed ward main, there is no point chasing them, there is nothing to learn, why would anyone put themselves in such a disadvantage if not to test their ego on how "they manage to get the down on such a tile" when they most likely already lost the match after said down.
Cause you need to lose the match so I can escape. it in the rulebook when you load up the game.
-
Run some haste if it bothered you.
-
He is the most adaptable killer you can played in numerous style. Don't forget to run tombstone myers for his broken achievement.

Thank you for clarifying this! It is good to know it is possible at least :) Hopefully Capcom and other owners of the characters will be open to the idea of it, I know I would it buy it instantly!
Capcom might considering they are letting them do Birken and hunk etc.

Never heard of it

As killer I run Machine learning, PWYF, rancor and game afoot. I am speed.
-
There nothing wrong with tunneling but slugging for a bleed out is a bit much. Give up button is definitely needed.

For killer that would make quite a significant difference. Imagine that stacked with Noed or PWYF.
Don't forget machine learning synergy.

I really hope it does! I have Nancy, but this was before I started actually playing the game. I just bought the DLC because I saw you could play as her and wanted to when/if I started playing. Now I am sad I missed out on her costumes, especially her pony tail, it's so pretty. If it comes back I would buy all the cosmetics in a heartbeat!
I only bought the sweaters and Steve's babysitter outfit. I got demo too but only one cosmetic for him. They will be missed
-
Haven't played as her in awhile and I have her prestige before the whole prestige rework thing. She rare to go against to the point some never seen her body blocking add-ons ..

2 of his perks are very strong. I was being sarcastic as well. I see the posts about MFT. I am pointing out the entitlement of the survivor playerbase. the moment killers get a good perk survivors begin the onslaught of whining and begging for nerfs. But survivors take this attitude like "how dare you say MFT is OP, it's only 3%, thats not that much" in the reverse situation where killers are pointing out that survivors have a tool that is too powerful.
You mean the one that can give you an exposed status or an item...
-
I mainly do trickster and doctor but overall I switched up to learn other's powers.
-
Leave the perk alone until the consoles can used it.
-
Ok bye sir/ma'am
-
Run gen build and hope to make it to last man standing or hatch closes.
-
I see nothing wrong with MFT. Then again I run a build designed around speed perks like PWYF and Game afoot. It not bad as OoO considering that perk just need one survivor to use it.

This got me thinking, imagine they gave us the Finisher Mori and there was a Skull Merchant. Everyone could just Plot Twist and legitimately end the game lol
This perk is essentially a give up perk to me. Running this with no mither and just toss myself to the floor.
-
Maybe reevaluate on your definition of winning in this game.

If it's EGC and I'm the last one, I'll commonly stop once the killer finds me. Using Plot Twist instead would be hilarious to my childlike brain
It would be funny to me even when I'm killer seeing this. Now we just need a perk that let us hooked ourselves now.
-
I would run plot twist whenever I'm the last one standing. I rather just take myself out.

What was the point of this discussion

Kinda wanted a passive condemned around the power tv but ok.

so you are comparing snowmen to the current event lol. i mean one was fun. the other is severely OP
This is why I ran doc on the snowmen effect. Both shouldn't have been added. I'm able to wait out then expose a protector thus continuing the tunnel.

Yea, it's insane. He has so many overpowered add-ons. Killer with such great base power shouldn't have such add-ons. Look at Artist, her base power is really good, however her add-ons are okay at best. That's what Blight should have as well. It's nice Spirit is getting some of her problematic add-ons changed, but why her? She isn't that popular anymore, almost nobody talks about her besides Rin mains of course but she gets addons pass sonner than him, while being complained about daily.
I usually play killer but the alc ring is something else. At least with bubba you can get tantrum. If you're good then it just smooth sailing with that add on.

I'm surprised it last this long

I never liked them at all, all it does is put a big flashy mark over your head saying "im here come hook me" or "im coming run away from me"
I don't run it on everyone for that reason. Why would I want people to see a beacon on my forehead.....
-
I expect more bugs and chaos.
-
As they should
-
Yes it is.
-
Playing as the trickster and watching everyone glorified me. More cosmetics plz 🙏

Bring whatever you want to the game. I'll bring whatever I want to the table too.

Probably just as well they didn't. When big companies like microsoft get their claws into smaller companies they tend to ruin games.
Look at what happened to halo. The original 3 games were amazing. Soon as microsoft got a hold of it the last 3 games have been absolute dog #########.
I find smaller companies tend to make better games. They care more about making a good game versus just churning out prepackaged crap for quick turn arounds. I'd hate to see a big company get any influence over dbd.
Don't forget gears got screwed up with a bunch of nonsense.

maybe for new players. I would say he was on weaker side of the killer cast. I believe his PTB, he started at 16 meter terror radius and I think it took 3 seconds to pull a survivor into dream world. something like that. I believe his changes increased his terror radius to 24 meters and the time it took to bring a survivor into dream world was increased to 5 seconds. that is what I remember. Maybe something else changed but I cannot recall it. Either he did not change that much but increased terror radius removed his ability to see survivors aura in loops when in dream world.
One of biggest weakness was that when he put survivors in dream world, survivor could purposely fail a skill-check to wake up from the dream world. He needs to put survivor into dream world to m1 the survivor. While waking up from dream world was bad, it did award the killer for 10% total regression. 10% regression might not sound like much but 10% regression is comparable to Jolt and Eruption in term of regression perks. In summary survivor are a lot better at regressing generators then killer are. Due to his 24 meter radius, he had magnificent synergy with the perk Monitor&abuse which lower his terror radius to 16 meters. I would describe him as stealth killer with decent generator regression. Strength wise, He was around modern day wraith in term of power-level with add-on. He exceled at hit & run but had little to no power in the chase. He had cute end game but as long as survivor were together, they could easily clap their hands and wake themselves up from dream world in the end game. He was good at securing 4k. He kinda had build-in No Way Out. When he won. he won with 4k. When he lost. he lost with 0k. Big high, Big lows.
Survivors fall asleep at 7 sec while Freddy phase in and out of existence. Awake survivors couldn't see Freddy so all you heard was the lullaby. Sadako has no collision is probably from old Freddy's concept.

originally. Freddy was an end game killer. You can see this in freddy perks. He has Remember me, Blood warden and Fire-up. 2/3 perks happen in the end game and one of the perks reaches the max power-level in the end game.
You can tell how badly that turned out. A lot of people labelled freddy as worst killer in the game at one point. One of funny interaction that freddy had was that when you were in dream world. you performed actions at 50% speed. This did include generators and healing but most importantly. it included exit gates.
Yes. an exit gate took 40 seconds to open when in dream world. Remember me used to be a powerful perk. It increased the gate opening time by 30 seconds. Each stack of remember was 5 seconds and there was max of 6 stacks.
This means that an exit gate took 50 seconds to open in total. Applying 50% penalty with freddy dream world. it would take a total of 100 seconds to open. That is longer then doing generator solo.
The idea was scrapped and freddy received rework.
Apply Old dying light for a slow gen run.
-
Run hillbilly with Pighouse Gloves to reduce the stun 50% again.
-
So they aren't supposed to use the event's ability?
-
He forgot to say one of y'all is stream sniping him and doing call outs.
-
No that like a killer complaining about being looped. If a killer camp then separate and do 3 gen. By the time they hit 2nd or third then go for a save.

You're getting hooked? The Killer just slugs me.
You're getting slugged? The killer body block me in a corner.
-
You're getting off the hook? I haven't even left the hook and now watching the killer watch me.
-
Run remember me, blood warden, no way out and terminus.

@Xernoton said:
Same reason some killers will hit you on hook and bm you after every misplay. To assert dominance. It makes them feel better about themselves. It's probably not the most healthy coping mechanism but as long as it stays in the game and doesn't cross a certain line (death threats, wishing ill on players' families etc.) we'll just have to deal with it.
You never been hug as a child.
-
I usually do it for unbreakable or any other pick up perks. The game should immediately give a bleed out prompt to those who been down for a while.

What can the other survivor do if killer is either on top of me, or found Leon? You tell me.
Plus Leon got me up and killer just hit me as soon as my animation getting up finished.
Do you have something better to do in that case?
Should have pushed them off of you.
-
Run rancor with a lil nemesis and watch the salt.
