  • First off boil over never entered the meta for winning the game only for griefing the killer.

Waaaaaaaaaaa the devs fixed exploits that made survivors invulnerable in certain circumstances waaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Favorite: Games where I learn, get close matches, barely get the kill / escape.

Least Fav Killer: People that suicide on first hook, way to mess up you're team because you're salty a killer spawned in your gensim.

Least Fav Survivor: Sandbagging teammates that team up with the killer.

Yesterday Otzdarva made a stream when he tried to prove this point.

So he took every killer, he used really good perks and god tier addons and played.

He obliterated every lobby (most of the time, it was with 4 gens left). Of course sometimes survivors were'nt that strong, but still they at least played DS/DH.

As a killer main (95%/5% killer/survivor). I do not know what to think about ? Am I delusional to think that survivors have advantages over the killer ? But my POV is biaised by the fact I only played killer since I started plyaing (around 200h)

I would like to know what do you think about this ? Does it prove that the game is not survivor sided ? What is your POV on that ? Please also let know other people which role you main !

The problem is the comp people who are even better have opposite results where the killer normally just gets 1k per game. Otz even said the game is SWF \> Killer \> Solo survivor

  • Hex: Plaything is probably the closest counter since most teams don't run more than 2 boon perks. Those totems will be off limits by some of the booners otherwise if they let the totem remain till they can be booned you probably gained some value in that time.

The weird thing is 2/3 boons are like, okay at best. Circle of healing is the bonkers one.

  • Please grow up.

  • Like what do you want? Remove animation locks for killers, how're you not going to remove animation locks for survivors too? Getting survivors mid vault is like a third of my downs at least.

Small tip: If you down a survivor and the chase music does not immediately end but lingers 2 extra seconds, there's a survivor within 16 meters of you. Find them first if there were flashlights in the lobby.

  • Ever since the patch there's been a lot of distance between hooks and more than a few dead zones. I even had a map with 1 hook for an entire quarter. Hooks feel mildly borked.

  • It depends on what your goals are. You're going to need STBFL off of Myers if you wanna do Nemmy at high level. Hex: Plaything off of Pinhead is pretty huge slowdown combo with Scourge Hooks: Pain Resonance.

Could ultimately build out BBQ/Lethal - Pain Resonance - Plaything - STBFL sweaty or BBQ - STBFL & memeperks for fun.

Playing Nemmy you gotta run STBFL, it's kind of like playing Blight without Shadowborn. Feels kinda bad once you know what it is like having it.

  • I stopped reading after you were clearly talking about no addon shape and said "You can access tier 3 two or three times in a match."

You have either not played the Shape or are lying. You can hit T3 without addons 6 times assuming you don't kill a survivor without stalking them. Every time you activate T3 you get a down guaranteed all you have to do is get another and you have 12 hooks. Assuming survivors aren't always full health always you don't always need T3 to down. Granted he is a weak killer but you don't need to lie about the character.

  • Tunneling happens based on the gamestate and confidence of the killer. If the killer is unconfident they can win playing by the 'rulebook' without tunneling it will start. For instance if there is 1 gen or EGC left then I'm grabbing a survivor and camping them opposite the exit gates. Simply said it can be the optimal play. Sometimes the survivors actually encourage tunneling, if you have one survivor you've never seen all game that's because they've avoided you thus funneling the pressure onto the other three. Sometimes 2survivors will hide and you end up alternating hooks on 2 guys till they die then you have 6 hooks and 2 survivors left to go. Like, if the survivors are just hiding do they expect me go, "okay time to LET THIS PERSON WORK ON GENS and go check lockers for 20 minutes" ??

Personally if I'm in a chase with someone injured that I tracked I'm going after them even if they were unhooked recently unless I'm at 4-5 gens left then I normally abandon chase to give them a little wiggle room to play the game some more.

Everyone has a different definition of tunneling too, if I hook everyone who has not been hiding in a corner once kills are completely fair game in my book. I've killed a mildly popular streamer on hooks 1, 3, & 6 while his team had been hooked once each and was called a tunneler so IDK what people actually think tunneling is.

I've intentionally straight tunneled someone out once because they were being a BM lord and they were not better than me.

tl;dr Tunneling is the product of when the killer's confidence in winning the game dips below their comfort level in the current gamestate or by the survivors own design.

edit: So like in the video this killer is so unconfident in their ability to win the game they spend all of their effort trying to get 1 kill.

  • "I'M SO HAPPY PEOPLE ARE FINALLY REALIZING THIS GAME IS SO KILLER SIDED

I realized that I probably made the title a bit misleading. I meant it as more "not as survivor sided as people make it out to be" than straight up killer sided."

    A little misleading 🤡

Lol you sure you weren't the reason they died? You're running a cookie cutter bully build/offering.

"I sent the killer to RPB while using Boil over. Who could have possibly seen them DCing coming?"

  • Why would one of the weakest killers need his power nerfed?
