I don't consider those things toxic at all. For me toxicness is hitting people on the hook, nodding, teabaging, messages etc.

People are free to play how they want as long as they are not going out of their way to insult others.

That's fair. I honestly like to be hit on the hook. It's honestly a compliment to me. Like "You #########!! You were such a pain in my ass man. #########." Just means I did my job. I think stopping someone from playing the game is way worse. Like I wait 10 min to play the game just to be camped or tunneled? Nah that's ######### bro.

Not only does a window or pallet grab not magically turn into a hit, but hook and gen grabs get cancelled as well. None of these turn into hits, it just turns into the killer standing there like a moron and letting the survivor get away.

These are all huge. The killer should not be robbed of these unless the survivor was blatantly running away already. A gen/hook grab is literally 2 health states. A window/pallet grab that gets failed is basically like a free dead hard or styptic agent, it lets the chase continue well after it should have ended.

And I would remind you that the survivors primary job is not chasing, it's gens. The killers job is literally to hit survivors. They should have priority or else it's unfair for them because their main objective becomes borderline impossible. It's like if you tried to finish a gen but it kept regressing by ten percent for no reason.

Yea the only time that grabs are stolen from killer are when survivors are on gens. It's insanely rare to see a grab through window or pallet being robbed from the killer. In fact of all my hours of viewing and playing the game never have I seen it. If you cant hit a survivor who just got off a gen literally less than a foot from you before they can make anywhere safe, that's your problem not the games.

It will never be fixed, mostly because it's always either going to be BS for one side thanks to the physical limitations of the internet. Though I think it should lean toward killer a lot more, I literally see grabs get denied on myself and my teammates while I play survivor. As in, the animation starts and gets cancelled. That's not fair.

Killer already has enough priority in the game when it comes to hits that I can't agree. Is it really a big deal to have to hit a survivor instead of grabbing them? Oh no you missed out on extra points and lost 2-3 seconds, which does matter, but killers already get priority on pallets and imo that's enough

  • How balanced are the lobbies though. Are they filled with players of the same rank? Or is it all over the place? In my experience so far, it's all over the place. To be fair though, it's not like it was better before

  • The problem isn't that we can't get along it's that the game is designed in a way where the best possible play for either side is considered toxic to the other for many reasons. It's not the players fault it's the games fault. It's hard to not get mad a killer for abusing perks or tactics that are lame for the survivor and vice versa. It's nothing to do with the fact that the game makes you opponents

  • I don't need to read a word but the first sentence to agree. Pips and maps are the problem. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY THE FUN IS THE PROBLEM. WHERE IS THE FUN BEHAVIOR? It honestly makes me cry to see something I used to love so much when it came out to turn into such a toxic game all over the pip. It hurts me so much. I just want FUN. FUN. FUN. FUN. FUN. FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yea pay to win mechanics are very fun for everyone. No hag? No plague gg bud get gud
