So for something to be "balanced " they need to be weak enough to lose games so a clown on red ranks a killer that has almost no chance to win unless survivors mess up really badly for just feel bad for?

Seems to be what the devs want.

    Uninstalling = stress release.

Yeah it's time to give up on it, the developers are out to ruin the game for killers, so we should all just quit. ######### their trash game.

I play survivor more (currently rank 1). I have also enjoyed playing killer and I was at rank 1 multiple times. But I always had one issue with the game. When I faced organized teams or solos then those games went by just too quickly. It was rare at first but then more and more survivors became experienced with the game and the percentage of fast games has risen up. I play on Frankfurt server and believe me when I tell you that there are currently so many teams and experienced players on high ranks that it becomes very stressful playing as killer.

But I always had a relief. There were some options if you wanted to be at least a scary killer. I always enjoyed playing the Nurse..she felt so strong. But then you nerfed her and I cant play her anymore, Im just not good enough..ok. There was always the option to choose the Silent Spirit and enjoy people jumping from gens and feeling terrified. That was so much fun. Probalby the most fun I have ever had as a killer. But then you nerfed her. So what else to do to be a scary killer? Oh, I know! Prolong the game as long as possible! Freddy had some very good addons for that and it was fun playing him because he countered genrush. But then you nerfed him.

And I was already very sad. Allt the fun killer options gone, number of fast games increased again. Now we have 7 totally underpowered killers (or so) and what is your next step? You are nerfing Ruin. So thats why you have lost me..I loved this game and I hope I will love it again one day..now I just cant.

I 100% agree. Nerfing ruin with the last straw, I will never play killer again, and honestly with the survivor games taking so long to load, I'm just done. I'm deleting the game and never worrying about it again.

  • Yeah seriously ######### BHVR for that. I played my last killer game. Survivor is hella easier but these load times are getting bad again. Still not a millionth as bad as they were when the game was new.

Title. Between the 20+ minute queue times for low rank killers due to the SWF changes (OhTofu just did an awesome video on it, go check it out to see a more elegant explanation), the next to worthless tutorial that doesn't explain perks, bloodwebs, killer powers, or other major gameplay aspects, and the fact that a new player starts with literally nothing, and has to play a game blind with no perks and next to no explanations, I genuinely don't understand how this game gets any new players. I have personally had 3 friends that were super excited to try the game quit within a week, because the game is so tremendously unfun to a player that's new. I'm trying to get yet another friend into it, because I do genuinely think that it's a great game once you get a head of steam, but thanks to the new SWF changes I can't play with him on my main without him dying in literally 10 seconds to a rank 1 killer. So now I'm contributing to the problem by making a smurf account, solely so I can play with a new friend.

This game needs an offline area for survivors to test killers and perks. The game needs a comprehensive tutorial with killer powers, tile explanations, and examples of perks in action. The game needs a way for new players to rank up survivors other than a cycle of hide-die-repeat until they either understand the game thru beating their head against it or quit. Without new players, this game dies, and as of right now there really isn't a good reason to be a new player in DBD.

I was playing from day one. It's a million times improved from that mess.

Just played a game on Hawkins as the Demogorgon, played relatively fair & normal for the entire match - downing a survivor, not respecting pallets and breaking them with shred or try to M1 and get stunned (so more points for them), hook a survivor and use BBQ/PGT to go to another area of the map, allowing for an easy rescue.

I haven't sacrificed anybody yet and the game is in the survivors hands as the doors are powered, but I am able to down one of them and put them in the basement as the last generator is done. So, I use my portal and head towards one of the gates where I can see a survivor opening, down them, return to the basement as I get a notification that someone is there, down them and get 2 in the basement.

Proceed to do this for the majority of the endgame, finishing the last survivor and securing a 3k in the basement (downed all 3 in the basement with Save the best for last, clutch perk).

Proceed to post-game chat: ''lmao'' ''pfff'' ''play fair next time pls''

    ???

confronted them on it, blamed them for their altruism since they could've escaped as a 3, but decided to come back and give me 2 more kills, but they proceed to complain that I ''proxy camped'' the basement and that it wasn't fair.

So basically, I'm supposed to let my leverage go for free and ensure you guys get out? The doors are powered, its the best move to keep relatively close to the basement and ensure a kill. Or should I teleport to the other side of the map, let you 3 go and get to a post-game chat of ''gg ez baby killer''?

Playing as killer, you really do see the entitlement and hypocrisy that a lot of survivors have. They expect free saves, or to escape every game and if you do, god forbid, the best play possible in a certain situation, its not fair?

    Are survivors entitled?

Your mistake was not facecamping them all from the get-go. I consistently slaughter sweaty swf groups with Dr. treatment grabbing the hook. It's beautiful. Once the first two are dead I always chase the last two and slug them pick them up, slug the more, chase them, just basically torture them until I maximize points, making sure to nod at them on the hook, hit them as much as possible, and if somebody's particularly annoying walking around behind them as they bleed out instead of hooking them and ending the match. A killer can be just as toxic as survivors, and I highly recommend being maximum toxic every game just for the sake of it. They deserve it.

  • @Majora said:

Doctor is getting huge nerfs and slight buffs. Survivors will experience alot less madness overall. Most importantly doctor is losing his treatment grabbing.

He was the only killer that could grab people that do the easy unhooking fakeouts and other grabs since dedicated servers ruined grabbing. Losing his grabs and passive terror us a huge nerf to a weak killer

Oh yeah and they are removing his exhaustion add-ons in favor of a skillcheck gimmick. Guess will be back to survivors unhooking right in doctor's face and with no reprecussions using DS and BT

For real, the treatment grabis the only reason why I ever play him, it's amazing I'm going to miss it terribly.

  • Seems okay, I lobby dodge the first couple teams just out of spite. They should consider themselves lucky, I ALWAYS face camp them anyway.

  • This is why you face camp all survivors into oblivion. Well the first two, toy with with the last two to get your points. They deserve nothing more.
