Practice Blight against players, its okay to lose, you're trying to learn.
About the matching making and separate queues, of course it would be the best thing to do, nothing pisses humans off like failure to meet expectations. By this I mean, the totally unpredictability match experience produced by the matching system is guaranteed to make players angry.

Shouldn't SWF be locked to ranked then? If you have to sweat against this, how would that be considered casual?
swf is unfair which is why it should not be allowed in ranked

yes, but it would be way more rare to run into scummy players. I think its worth a try, since they plan 2 different matchmaking queues on mobile, so why dont we also apply it to pc and consoles?

It's straight up broken or tuned to not work in the first place in favor of queue times. It seems to give up altogether at around the 2 minute mark. I regularly play in a ~20k hr 4 man SWF. Our matches range from killers who get 0 or 1 hook the whole game to a killer that 4ks us the next game. There's no rhyme or reason to the killers we get matched against. They're either straight up lying about how it works (and thus hide MMR), or they're unaware of how SBMM is actually working in practice.
in any way it's a fact, that the matchmaking is extremely far from perfect

Terrible idea! Just get cook up into you learn my guy. Sorry man but the Game is full unfun stuff. Learning how to counter pinhead or any annoying killer is unfun. Pre dropping, shift w, tunneling, camping, etc....all of it not fun. Just deal with it like everyone else

Trying to learn Blight against bots would not lead to a good outcome.
